I really really like Anne. It's hard to come up with a middle name to go with it. I think I would have a hard time convincing DH to let me use it too.

Aiden.
Too bad my cousin used it for his imaginary pet mouse. I'd never live that one down!

@rahlyrah: Harvey is a big favorite of mine and I'm so sad we can't use it!
Cora for a girl

Well I"m sort of fond of the one we have picked for our LO (Fiona) But other than that, runner up was Penelope (we would've called her Penny, but I also Pepper). For boys names I loved Alexander and James.

@Leialou: I LOVE Anne-I just may know someone VERY well with that name
It totally depends on the sound of your last name, but I love:
Anne Elizabeth
Anne Marie
Anne Victoria
Anne Avery

@T.H.O.U.: I love Cora! We're considering Coralie for our girl due in October, and we would call her Cora.
I also love Eloise and Felix.
Mr.P LOVES the name Pascale for a girl (he's a French teacher, and has lots of relatives in Francophone countries, so French names are easier for them), but I worry that it would just confound Americans... it might end up being in the running for a middle name.

Generally speaking, I really like Gemma for a girl right now and Stanton for a boy. I would *love* to name a boy Stanton as an ode to the dusty desert I grew up in, but Dh and I decided to always use names that sound good in both his language and mine, so it's out. It also doesn't really fit our last name.

I am loving Gretchen right now - but our last name beings with G so it doesn't really work.
@Mae: I LOVE Pepper! I suggested it to DH but he vetoed it because of Peppa Pig. He said people would call her a pig. Sigh.

Clara, DH's grandma's name.... getting too popular tho

@Cherrybee: I don't know peppa pig? lol. It was off the table for us bc our very good friends/neighbors have a dog named Pepper. Since we're at their house like, at least once/mo if not more-- that just seemed wrong/confusing to give our kid the same name as their dog haha.

@Mae: Lucky you! It's sucks! It's a British kids TV show about a pig called Peppa. It''s popular all over Europe (In Germany, it's Pepper Wulz), Australia, Japan (Pepper no buta)..... They even have a Peppa Pig World theme park here. I don't think we would get away with the name!!

@Cherrybee: stupid pig, ruining a good name lol. It just reminds me of iron man's assistant. Which is a pro for me, since I iron man haha

Someone posted a thread the other day about using Lennon for a girl, and I'm now officially obsessed with it. And for a boy I love Crosby.

Hunter and Grant are my boy names!

@Leialou: That's DH's ex's name (but different spelling) so I vote no on that one
I'm a sucker for Emma. I know it's popular but it's just such a gorgeous name.

Girl name was Reagan for years, but now DH has come around to my favorite- Ava! So, either Reagan, Ava Kennedy, or Kennedy Madison for girl. Boy names=none! We want to be team green, so if we ever get pregnant who knows what the boy will be named!

Like @Anagram: I LOVE Gemma! (I also really like your boy name!!)
The other girl name I like is Tessa.

@dc yoga bee: Kennedy Madison is a very appropriate name for someone that lives in DC!

@Ms.Pumpkin: I love Coralie - it's my number 1 for a little girl if we ever have one. (DH likes it too, but he's worried that she'll be made fun of as a teenager because it rhymes with "orally" - but my great-grandma's name was Ora Lee and I love how they sound similar!)

@lawbee11: Hahaha! I put that combo together while living in GA! It's our favorite favorite but too political! I'm thinking of applying for a transfer to FL though, so maybe no one would notice

If our next is a girl, she will likely be named Aster Caroline, but I also love Evelyn, but we can't use it because our last name is very similar.

@dc yoga bee: Reagan is a great name!
I really love Aiden for a boy but DH doesn't. I have no clue on girl names.

Sophie Rose is my favorite name right now (DH's two Grandma's names), but holy popular!! Also we have sooo many friends and family that have used it
Right now I'm stuck on Parker (for a girl).
