I love Olive Garden, you can never go wrong with soup, salad and breadsticks! Do you have a favorite chain restaurant? What about a least favorite?

I don't know that I have a favorite but DH's is Chuy's. We go once a week just so he can get his fix.

I also LOVE the soup, salad, and bread sticks at Olive Garden.
Also Chipotles and Sweet Tomatoes.

I love the Cobb Salad at Red Robin and Cheesecake Factory. It's healthy and completely unhealthy at the same time.

Carrabba's. My least favorite is probably Red Lobster, but I don't eat seafood...
And Chipotle, I love Chipotle. We have a local chain called Neato Burrito that's really yummy too.

@FutureMrsMcK: I can agree with Red Lobster being my least favorite, I am not a seafood fan at all.

I'm a carboholic so I have to go with Olive Garden. Although we don't have one in my province

Melting Pot... I think I should change my username to fondue lover or something like that! I'm constantly talking about the Melting Pot!

Carrabba's. I work right near the original one (still owned by Johnny Carrabba) and I swear the food is the best at that one! (Though I love them all.)

There is only one olive garden in my city and it's ALL the way across on the other side!!! I've only been there once.
Our fav place to go is called Milestones. They have a grilled chicken pesto fettucini that is just to DIE for.

@prettylizy: omg time for a Melting Pot thread. Haha jk.
The Melting Pot is most definitely my favorite chain restaurant!!! I also really really love The Cheesecake Factory. Coincidence that they're very dessert-centric restaurants? I think not.
My least favorite used to be Uno's but I hear they've totally revamped their menu. I gotta try it. We are also PF Chang's haters. I know I'm in the minority but the one near us must just be awful because we've had a bad experience every time we've tried to eat there. Once we even tried to go there for a late dinner and even though the website said they closed at 9pm (I checked on the way! because nowhere was open!) we got there at 8:30 and they had locked the doors and were turning people away.

@mrs. wagon: seriously, we should start a Melting Pot lovers group. Liquid cheese and chocolate? YES PLEASE!
blogger / watermelon / 14218 posts
@prettylizy: more like a support group..!!! We have a groupon just waiting to be used... can't wait til LMW is more stable with her night sleep so we can get a sitter and go out!!!

@Mrs. Bee: We also don't have a Cheesecake factory near us, but I go every time I am in Chicago, and LOVE it.

@mrs. wagon: We have a melting pot near us but I have never been because I was never really sure what it was all about...

@Bao: gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
So it's really a great dining experience, but you have to be prepared for 1) a really long meal and 2) a very interactive meal. As in, you cook it yourself. If you've ever done shabu shabu it's similar to that. The appetizer and dessert (cheese and chocolate) are just dipping but the main course you actually cook your proteins at the table, and they give you all these amazing sauces to use with the proteins.
It's hands-down my favorite date night place
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@mrs. wagon: Oh wow, we need to make a date night there! That sounds really fun and yummy. Now I'm hungry. Again.

@mrs. wagon: wow. One giant fondu dinner party.
I've never even heard of the melting pot. I don't think we have them in canada...

I really like Boston Pizza.
And I would totally be down with The Melting Pot if one ever opened here.

Mmmm I could go for the steak diane from Cheesecake Factory or the portobello mushroom ravioli from Olive Garden.
I'll just go sip on my chicken broth instead.

I love Olive Garden but there isn't one for many hours. Sad.

@.twist.: Not in Canada yet.... I'm just lucky I love close to a border and there is one about 40 minutes from me!
GOLD / papaya / 10206 posts
@Bao: Yep, full fledged Canuck!! I live really close to the Windsor/Detroit border so I have a lot of exposure to US media and culture.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@prettylizy: I've been to Windsor. I live in MI so we are not too far from each other.

@pelikila: Chuy's - yum!! I don't think my hubby is a huge fan of them either, but I love their deluxe chicken and their chicka-chicka boom boom enchiladas!!
My other favorites: Chick-Fil-A, Pizza Hut, Cheesecake Factory (even though I don't eat cheesecake - ha!), Johnny Carino's
Least favorite: TGIF's, Carrabba's, Potbelly's, Pei Wei
