I'm 13 weeks with a singleton, but have had multiple miscarriages. I've told most of my family and friends, but won't make a broader announcement until I'm 20 weeks. As people see me, I'll let them know, but I'm not going to go out of my way to make a big announcement.

We announced at 12 weeks exactly on Facebook and at work, but friends and family already knew. Glad things looked good at your US!

Sadly, because I have been there, I am also in the wait it out camp. When is your next appointment? Can you just try to give it 2 more weeks?

I had a great ultrasound at 8 weeks, and then went on to miscarry at 11 weeks. I would wait until 12. So happy things are looking great for you!!!

I'd wait until 12 weeks. I had a friend announce twin pregnanch at 12 weeks and then lost one before she was 18 weeks. My other friend waited till after 18 weeks to announce her twin pregnancy.

Just do what your comfortable with....with every pregnancy, there's a chance of miscarriage (sadly), so you're never really in the "100% free and clear" zone. I've known multiple people who've miscarried well into the second trimester, but you can't let fear hold you back from sharing your joy with others.

I've never carried multiples, but I also chose not to let fear keep us from announcing. We went ahead and announced early for all of them. This last one we waited a little later (11 weeks I think), but that was because I was just so tired of everything about me revolving around being pregnant or having a loss or something baby related. I wanted more time to just be seen as me.

I think 12 weeks is when we told on sites like FB but we always told really early to family and close friends. I'm just not the type to not do things because of worry.

@bluestriped bee: I announced at around 14 weeks. But I dont have a fb or ig or anything to announce on. Just calling friends and family at that time
