@locavore_mama: Just took a digital test and it came back positive!
I'm kind of in shock. We had LO through fertility treatments, so I didn't really think anything would happen naturally. I've never gone about this the "regular" way, so I wasn't sure if I should call my OB right away. I'm not getting my hopes too high though, as I've had multiple miscarriages in the past.

I called two or three days later but then hated them so I started over again with a new group a few weeks later as a new patient which seemed to work just fine too!

I had midwives (not OB/GYN), but I called pretty much right away. They fill up FAST. They told me that the next time I get pregnant, I need to call them before I tell my husband, haha (so I can get a spot).I think OBs might have more flexibility/availability though.

@cole: I actually want to start as a new patient at a different obgyn office. I wasn't happy with most of the drs' at the office I went to for my last pregnancy. I think I'm just going to try to get an appointment with the new office and explain my long history!

I called the day of my missed period. I got a positive really early (I think like 8 DPO) and wanted to be sure I guess. I think my period was supposed to show up at like 12 DPO that cycle so I guess I waited about 4 days.

I waited a few days to call both my PCP and the OBGYN/Midwife group I decided to see. I wanted to make sure I wasn't having a super early chemical, and (since I tested at 10 dpo), I wanted to get a bit closer to my missed period, so they didn't think I was too crazy
