I felt the same way as you while pregnant with ds, now I'm open to three again (ds2 is almost two months). We will revisit the conversation at six months on what we really want to do. If we do "try" and don't get pregnant by ds2' first bday we will probably look into permanent measures. I don't want to go through pregnancy/nb phases any later than that.

When LO was almost 1, or maybe she just turned 1, we started talking about just having one. But it never felt right to me. I told DH around her 2nd that I wanted another. A couple weeks later he agreed. So we just decided to space it for a bigger age gap.

We knew for sure we would have 2. But I'm without a doubt in the 2 or 4 camp - if we have a 3rd, we're having a 4th too.

We decided that we're going to wait until kiddo 2 is in full time preschool to decide. I'll be 33 at that point too.

I've always wanted 2. There were never many real moments of doubt, but now that LO2 is well into toddlerhood and we are all more or less STRN, I can't even imagine starting all over again with a newborn.

I change my mind everyday, an last night was 2 is good enough! But I am not sure what our cut off will be, it wouldn't be anything serious to consider until DS is atleast 12 months old. I have decided to sell quite a bit of our gear, I need to purge out all the junk cluttering out house. I am keeping our favs that we would 100% need for another, everything else is going. I figured it would be easy enough to buy some used gear if needed down the road.

#3 is probably a year or so down the road (DS2 is 15 months). I am keeping some special outfits and some bigger baby items, but sold/gave away everything else. Newborns don't need much

We were on the fence about #3 but had an oops and are currently pregnant with #3. We are taking permanent measures after LO3 is born.

We have never been on the fence about a third but it was a matter of when to make it happen, not if. LO #2 is 14 months now so we're in the process of switching our insurance this month and then we'll be NTNP I think. That's the current plan anyway!

We had always said we would have 2-3. Currently pregnant with LO2 and this pregnancy has been much harder on me. Something has clicked in DH's brain that we must now be two and through. Truth be told, I think he was always leaning towards 2 silently since its what he grew up with and feels its an ideal family size. I'm not sure how I'll feel when LO2 gets here (due in November), I'm hoping everything will feel complete. Even if it does not, it I wouldn't push another unless DH was 100% on board (which I don't see happening).

We are still undecided. I think if we agreed maybe we'd be decided but we're both leaning opposite ways. We have one child who is almost 2 and we aren't sure about adding another but if we do, we agree on the timing, so at least there's that! I've kept all of our baby stuff but am starting to think maybe I don't need all of it even if we do have a second.

When my husband and I first got together we thought we wanted 4. But after we had our daughter 3 years ago we were either one-and-done or going to wait at least 4 years to have another. When our DD hit 2.5 years we were certain we could handle another earlier. Now I'm 27 wks pregnant with baby due in Dec and we are very happy with 2 kids, 3 years a part. I guess we played it by ear, and never really "knew"! I suppose if it feels right in the future to have a 3rd, then we will. I'm 29 btw.

we've always been a "3 kids" family. pregnant with #2 and thinking we'll try for a 2 year gap when #2 and #3.

DH and I both come from 2-kid families, so, it has always seemed the default assumption for both of us would be to have two. I don't think either of us ever even considered a different number.

We are 99.9% sure that we just want two. We've always discussed this, and I was close to being ok with just the one actually, but it didn't feel right to us .... So it's just sorta been understood between us for a while I guess!

I thought I was one and done until a few weeks ago into my this pregnancy (my first). Now, I want three same as DH. My reason for three is so silly, but that's okay. We were watching Transparent and as much as the adult kids were messed up in some way I loved how they were still a three-legged stool of support for each other and their parents. I have seen that in IRL too since DH has a great relationship with his four siblings and now that my relationship is much better with my brother I am willing and wanting to have children not just a child. We've discussed the best spacing to knock out two more by the time I'm 39/40.
