My RE's plan is to wean me off my meds and release me to an OB at 10 weeks. I am to have two ultrasounds and some my blood drawn a few times to check my estrogen and progesterone before then. He told me I could have my 9 week ultrasound at my local RE's office or at an OB's office. I'll probably stick with my RE because I like her.
Also did you wait until you graduated from the RE to schedule an appointment with an OB or did you schedule it ahead of time?

I will be with my RE til 12 weeks but they told me that I may have to call my OB soon to get in because they may want to see me at 6-8 weeks.

I had my 6 week U/S with the RE, but then went to my OB at 9 weeks for my next one. I figured that I wanted to get to know the person who was going to take care of me and LO for the next 7 months.

I think I graduated from my RE after the first ultrasound which was 7 or 8w. Right around the time I had my last ultrasound, I went ahead and made an appointment with my OB who I saw at 10w.

I graduated after my second ultrasound at almost 9 weeks. I was still on meds until 12 weeks. I waited until I was done with RE to make an OB appt (at my RE's request) and they got me in the next week.

I graduated after my scan at 8 weeks. My RE's office referred me to the OB and I had my first appointment with them at 10 weeks.

I was done right after my first ultrasound at 6 weeks. I was told however that if anything happened I could call and be seen up until I was 10 weeks.
They refered me to an OB and set up my appointment for me. That was at 11 weeks.

I graduated at 10 weeks and saw the OB at 12
I waited until I was done with RE to schedule with the OB

My RE released me at 8w and my OB saw me at 9w. They wanted me in right away so we could do the first trimester screening (and part of that was my 11w ultrasound).

I graduated at 7 weeks. I'm pretty sure I made an appointment In advance of graduating and I saw my regular OB around 10-11 weeks.

Well, at 7 weeks was my last appointment that I went to the fertility clinic. But I chose an OB who also practices there, is an RE, but has his own practice as well. I just felt better with our history and I'm so glad I did!
