Just curious when you introduced a sippy or straw cup and how long did it take your LO to get the hang of it? I think we let LO1 play with a soft spout sippy cup around 5.5 months but she never got the hang of it. I can't remember when we introduced the straw cup but she took to that right away.

Right after 6 months. She got the hang of it pretty quick. I started by holding some water in a straw with my finger, letting it flow into her mouth, eventually making her work to suck the water out, and then the straw cup was simple.

Around 9 months I think? We pulled her bottles at 12.5 months and she uses a camelback and foogo now.

6 months w. water. He didn't really get the hang of it until around 7/8 months though. Now that's all he drinks out of.

6 months sippy (always water, she wouldn't take BM from a cup or bottle). Closer to a year straw cups. Can't remember exactly!
