My three year old has been sleeping in her twin bed for about a year. We put her rails on the sides of the bed since we moved her into the twin bed straight from the crib and didn’t want her to roll off since she’s kind of a wild sleeper. When is it typically safe to remove the rails? The bed is fairly low to the ground but I’ve also read arm and shoulder breaks from rolling out of a bed is a really common kid injury. But I don’t want to go overboard with protective measures if unnecessary and having the rails on the bed is pretty annoying when making the bed or trying to get in with our daughter to read.
