I stopped buying them once she moved to 12M or 12-18 clothes. I think we have a handful now, but I like shirts SO much better since it makes diaper changes a little quicker.

This summer, so around 18/20 months. Diaper checks/changes are much easier with shirts, and I wasn't concerned about his belly getting cold in the warm weather.

We stopped when he started walking... so 13-14 months. I didn't like him wearing shirts when crawling bc he was always exposing his belly, but I love not having to deal with onesies anymore!

Around 9 months. I put her in one this weekend and she looked like a baby! Brought back itty baby memories but diaper changes weren't fun, lol.

I stopped buying them when she got into 9 month sizes but we still had a lot of gifted onesies until 18 months.

10-12 months. He doesn't really need them with the warm weather and t-shirts are way less of a hassle.

I've also stopped buying them in few months, and I hardly ever dress him in onesies anymore. It's easier for me to check on his poopy diapers in shirts and waaaay easier to change them.

I still put a Janie and Jack spaghetti strap onesie under most outfits at 17 months. I just don't like her belly or diaper to show or for her to be able to take off her diaper. I'll probably do it until she's out of diapers.

12 month size is when she really stopped wearing them - they were awkward with her CDs, so as soon as she started walking I stopped using the onesies

He's 22 months and only wears them occasionally because his eczema is bad...they help him not scratch.

I only have what's left from gifts and stuff that was bought in advance. I stopped actually buying them for the 12m stage. We still have quite a few, but I'm trying to filter them out now.
Like pp's have said, diaper changes are so quick now!

I think we stopped using for daytime around 18 months ish. We use 24m sleeveless for sleep. Her diaper slouches too low without them and leaks!

I stopped around 18 mo when it started to get warm out. I really like the ease of diaper changes but might still use a few this winter when it's cold out and he needs another layer.

This summer, which is when DS really started walking, so around a year and a half. I still have some, but I like shirts much better. We'll probably still do onesies in the winter, because I have some that will most likely still fit.

I'm still buying them for LO in 24 month size - he's 16 months. He has such a Buddha belly that most of his t-shirts ride up, so I love that the snaps hold the tummy cover down I don't see any options larger than 24 months though, and I doubt he'll be in this size very long, so the end is probably nigh.

after he started walking I stopped buying, but we had already stalked up for the winter. this summer he has not worn a onesie.

She started preferring dresses around 13 months and getting annoyed when I put her in onesies, so she rarely wears them anymore. I might use them again in winter though.

He's still in onesies at nearly 16m. I wouldn't know how to keep a shirt from riding up over his buddy belly. Even the 24m ones are getting short though so I guess I'll have to figure it out soon

Quite surprised that some people dropped them so soon. I kinda thought she'd be wearing them for years...I don't know why but I just feel like she'd be uncomfortable without one?

@keepcalmcarrie: @Pumuckl: R has a buddha belly too! I bought 12 month shirts for the summer but I had to retire most of them. She needs 12-18 just for the belly.

This summer, so around 2 years. We're potty trained now (mostly), so we won't be going back to onesies in the fall. I guess I need to find her some undershirts...
pineapple / 12053 posts
i stopped buying them before the 1 year mark, but had gifted ones up to size 18 months. i am going to buy a new pack of onesie tanks for naps and bedtime because DD decided she likes to stick her hand in her diaper/take it off and the onesie locks it down!

@birdofafeather: hahah! Oh no!
Probablyaround 12-14 months, when we outgrew previous onesies and started walking. I actually just had to buy a onesie specifically and have a few gifted.

12 month was the last size I bought onsies in. He stopped wearing them around 14-15 months when I realized shirts were so much easier.
papaya / 10473 posts
We've been gradually phasing them out. He only has one or two in his current size (12-18 months)

About 10 months old so last summer. Shirts/pants combo is SO much easier!
nectarine / 2152 posts
When they started ripping off their bibs at meal time so I have to feed them naked (I wish I was kidding!). Taking off a shirt is much easier than a onsie and pants so that's what I've stuck with ever since (around 10 months, I guess?)
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
Around 18 months, only because we wanted an extra layer during the winter!
cantaloupe / 6164 posts
Sadie still wears them occasionally. I haven't bought any in 18m though.
