Vi is only 17 months and she tells me there is a dog under the bed. But she likes dogs so...
When I was little I was scared of monsters under the bed and my mom gave me a spray bottle of water to scare them away. It worked, I thought I was a ghostbuster and wasn't scared anymore.

3.5 and we just had an incident. Not quite a monster, a scary animal, but fearful like it was a monster.

Our 2.5 year old talks a lot about monsters, but not in a scary kind of way. She thinks it's funny to run away from monsters. I think her friends at school have taught her about them.

After age 3 - she thinks there are dinosaurs in her room but all I have to do is catch it and then she tells me to flush it down the toilet and all is well
