When did your LO outgrow puzzles like this? What kind came next? Debating keeping these or not...

We got the ones that are still wooden but have more pieces and no picture behind it to match!

18 months? My daughter has always been really good at puzzles and figured out those wooden shape puzzles almost instantly.

Those were like once and done for my son, he mastered those at a year. I used them as playroom decor, though, I couldn't bear to get rid of them.

What puzzles come next? my 18month old has these down pat but i'm not sure what she'd like next...

My 2 and 4 year old will sometimes still play with them but they're not a challenge. Next step would be harder wooden puzzles like the Melissa and Doug alphabet puzzle or the wood puzzles that form a picture rather than just fitting in the right spot. After that, there are some M&D puzzles that make a picture but there isn't a picture on the board. Then bigger floor jig saw puzzles. We love all kinds of puzzles in our house!
