When your LO was still getting the hang of potty training at what point in the evening did you cut off water? We don't do pull ups at night so we have to be careful with her water intake when it's close to bedtime though. Of course her bedtime is now and she just downed a whole cup of water because I wasn't thinking.

@Bao: We cut out all liquids around 6:30 and she is in bed by 7:45 8:00 latest!!
It's 7:55 now and DH just sang herher, her song and she is in bed!So 1.5hrs
She usually has milk with dinner and then maybe a small cup of water after playing a bit! -

We do pull-ups at night because LO is still drinking water with dinner and a small cup of milk with books at bedtime (followed by teeth brushing). We tried stopping liquids at dinner but she was so unhappy about it (and still wet her pull-up a lot of the time) so it didn't feel worth it.

We never have. Our daughter is 3.5 and has been night-trained now for about two months. She has a water bottle on her nightstand and is allowed to drink from it all night if needed. It is super dry where we live during the winter and we all wake up parched. I wasn't too worried about nighttime potty training, so it didn't matter to me. She is pretty good about waking up if she has to go. We've only had one accident and it was barely anything, as she woke up and help it as soon as she felt wet. She just started waking up dry every day about 3 months ago and when we ran out of pull-ups, I just didn't buy more! I haven't done any real method of potty training. It was very relaxed and we started when she was around 2. By the time 3 rolled along, I'd say she was 100% day trained and the nights were coming along. I just had no desire to do the potty thing until I was certain she'd go with it.

We don't.
He has to go to the bathroom before going to bed and he'll sometimes wake middle of the night to go again but we don't limit liquid intake. Often my kids have a tendency of not drinking enough during the day and won't be persuaded to drink more so they fill up in the evenings. -
We generally limit water intake after dinner. He can have a few sips, but that's it. He's been really inconsistent at night - sometimes he wakes up dry, but it seems he sleeps through having to pee a lot of nights. And he both resists the pull-up and has peed through them recently. So limiting fluids is our best option.

We don't. I think most kids don't get enough water. I'd rather used chux pads or pull ups than limit intake, at least for now.
