Nap time has migrated from about 12:30 to 1:00/1:15, LO has been sleeping in so she's not tired until a little later. I've tried keeping her schedule consistent but then she won't nap at all! I'd rather a later nap than no nap!

We usually take him upstairs about 12:15 and try to have him asleep by 12:30, but he's an early riser - if he sleeps past 6 we're excited.

1 PM. We actually had to move it up. It was 2 PM, but she was fighting bedtime HARD for hours. It's a little better now.

Between 1 and 1:30. She sleeps longer the later I put her down but then it can affect bedtime or worse, early wake ups in the morning.
I don't want it earlier because it would be too hard to do anything in the morning and get home and eat lunch before nap.

DS just moved to 1 nap this month so now we do lunch at 1130am and we try to run him around afterwards to poop before napping (otherwise we wakes early, boo). So he goes down between 12-1230 and he sleeps between 2-3 hours.

Between 1 & 1:30. I try to make it 1pm but sometimes we are running late getting home, or she had an eventful morning and she needs to wind down for longer.
Right now she is sleeping later than she used to (up between 7:30 & 8:30 AM) and she also will go to bed at 8 PM no matter how late she napped (knock on all the wood). When she was younger she was a mess if she wasn't down by noon.

@gingerbebe: thats amazing! My dd is the same age as your ds. how do I get her to nap better? I'm lucky if she sleeps for 1 hour. She is on 1 nap also, and fights it so hard.

DD is 11.5 months her naps are around 9:30 for 45 mins then around 1:30/2 and that lasts about an hr

LO is 20 months, nap time is 12:30. Default lenghth is 2 hours but if he's overtired from the day before he'll sleep longer.

My son is 14 months and I think we are in the weird limbo between 1 and 2 naps. When he takes 2 naps they are at 9am and 1pm, give or take, depending on previous wake-up time. They usually last 1.5-2 hours.
When he refuses the morning nap, his afternoon nap is around noon so I imagine that will be the new nap time when we go to 1 nap. He'll sleep for 2-3 hours on those days.

DS just transitioned himself to two naps a day a week or two ago, so we're at 8:30 and 1 now. It's so nice to go by the clock now!

@Pumpkin Pie: I think your LO is going through a phase - she's been having issues with night sleep too right? My DS sleeps like crap if he has a sleep deficit going on or is overtired. I'd try to get her to nap whenever however for a little while and then try to get her on a schedule when she's caught up. LO may need to try for a nap earlier in the morning? I don't know, sleep is such a crap shoot. DS transitioned to one nap sooner than I wanted because he would sleep just fine at 1030am but then refuse his afternoon nap outright and then be a psycho from late afternoon til bedtime. And putting him to bed earlier didn't work bc he really never sleeps beyond 12 hours from whenever he was put down so we were looking at early mornings. So I kept cutting down his AM nap until it was 30 mins and he was still fighting the PM nap. So I tried the one nap right after a 1130am lunch and then pushed it gradually to 12 or 1230 so he had time to poop when I realized poops were waking him early. The first week he was only sleeping 90 mins but I just left him in there and eventually he went back to sleep and now he goes about 2-2.5 hours, 3 on a great day. I usually leave him in his room for the full 3 hours unless he has a fit - he will usually play quietly or doze off because he knows I won't come in until naptime is over.

1 or 1:30 for my 2-year old. She wakes up anywhere between. 3:30 and 5.

Usually around noon. The last couple days he's been putting himself to sleep around 11-11:30 though.

@gingerbebe: I sure hope it's just a phase because it's killing me. I used to be able to just put her in the crib, and she would fall asleep. Now she fights sleep so hard and does not want to be put in her crib!

11:30-12 is nap time. He usually sleeps about 2 hours.
Some days like today he didn't get to sleep until closer to 12:30.

Between 11 and 1 depending on what is happening. We usually do 11 but 1 is the latest I will allow for sanity sake.

9am and 1:30pm for the baby
1:30/2:00 for my almost three year old.

Around noon for my almost 3 year old. He'll nap for 3 hours so any later than that and he'll never go to bed!
