Do you race around the house to get a few more things done?
I was studying for most of the nap, and when I heard him wake up I frantically sorted some loads of laundry, got a load in the wash, got his milk ready, put away my school stuff, made our bed.
Do you do this, or is it just me?

@babyjmama: Naps go by so fast! LOL. I also managed to get dress, wash my face, brush my teeth, make this thread. haha

You bet! I can cram more into the last 10 minutes of a nap than I can do all day!

haha ... my toddler screams for me to come get her, so I usually stop what I'm doing to go get her out of her crib. Then I resume whatever it is I'm doing after her diaper change.

R starts screaming the minute she gets up. So I run to the bathroom but that is about all

lol, wow you are fast! I am the opposite- as soon as she goes down for a nap I race around the house like a mad man and get as many things done as possible/clean/etc. and then spend the rest of the nap relaxing

DOALLTHETHINGS, A usually rolls around and lies babbling to him, so I also scramble to get in any last minute chores, etc.

@Smurfette: @aegie: If L does scream I go get him. But if I just hear him start to squirm around the time he normally wakes up; frantic house chores commence!

I only have weekend naps so it's AMAZING how much I can get done in those few, precious hours!

@mrsjyw: totally L too. He usually plays with his lovey for a bit until he wakes up and wants to play!

I spend about 15-20 minutes doing small chores before getting him from his crib. He is happy and content in his crib so I let him play in there before I go get him. It is amazing how much I get done during that small amount of time. Usually, I do dishes, or put laundry in or vacuum a room.
