Starve! I lose my appetite. Like right now, I'm getting married in 4 days, and I'm trying to keep my weight UP rather lose weight to get in the dress. Stresssssss.

@IRunForFun: I know what you mean! I kept losing weight before my wedding (and I had already had my final dress fitting) so I was worried about the dress being too big. And it was! It kept slipping down (I had a strapless) so one of my bridesmaids had to quickly alter the back to make it fit tighter. So keep eating!! It's tough but just try to remind yourself!

Starve. When I stress to the point of really bad worrying and constant replaying of a bad situation I do not eat or drink.

i go both ways. If i'm on my own i will starve (mostly sleep) but if I'm stressing and I'm with friends I tend to eat.

Starve for sure. I was down to a dangerously low weight right before our wedding b/c I was so stressed out. I ate like there was no tomorrow on our honeymoon!

i stress eat all the time, but when it's really bad, i starve. but bad is like- death of a close friend or family member, not regular big stresses like moving, changing jobs etc.

Stress/anxiety makes me lose my appetite and I lose weight - wedding planning and taking care of a newborn.
Boredom and sadness make me eat - breakup binge eating for sure...I eat my feelings. If I'm bored I cook and eat - usually pasta and sweets

Starve. Maybe five years back I was in a super toxic relationship and basically just quite eating. It wasn't like I was trying to be anorexic or anything, I just didn't want to eat. It resulted in losing a ton of weight, looking super sickly, and my period being MIA for some time.

@sandy: Boredom makes me eat, too. Everything else (sadness, stress) makes me starve.

I starve. I don't like it. I will be hungry, but nothing sounds good and trying to eat makes me feel nauseous. I've been stuck in that mode for a few weeks and I cannot wait for my appetite to come back.

@Sophia: I'm so sorry. I hope you get over your grief soon and get your appetite back. I always feel worse when I'm stressed out because I'm hungry and nauseous. I'd rather EAT.

I so wish I didn't eat when I was stressed. Because I'm totally regretting the Big Mac, 2 apple pies, french fries, and beer I just had. I feel gross now.

@Mrsbells: When I do eat anything (while stressed), it's usually sweets too. And I'm talkin' the bad stuff. Chocolate, ice cream, oreo cookies, supermarket donuts.

Neither! For whatever reason, my appetite has nothing to do with my mental state...I tend to eat pretty much the same way whether I'm relaxed, stressed, bored, running on all gears, etc.

Definitely a starver. If I'm super, super stressed out and try to eat, I'll just throw up. I know it isn't healthy, but it is what it is.
Now, boredom? Eat everything in sight.
