Just basic simple summer dresses, shorts (bike shorts) and tanks? I bought a few things at Target but they all had something on them, I'm looking for some simple basics to coordinate with some of the patterned things we have. Plus some comfy summer dresses for an easy outfit.

I loaded up at GAP and Carter's for LO's summer wardrobe. It was harder to find "stuff" free items at Carter's, but here's something similar to what I bought http://www.carters.com/carters-baby-boy-multi-packs/V_127G148.html
Primary.com has tons of solid color clothing. When LO needs more than just shirts (onesies) to from there I will use them more.

Normally Old Navy, but their selection really disappointed me this year. I had better luck with J Crew Factory this year (they've have several 40-50% off sales). The quality is better too, of course. Their pocket tees and ruffle chino shorts are adorable and good-quality fabric - I want to buy more!

I pretty much get all her clothes at Target and Old Navy. I haven't shopped yet this year because I think my tiny tot can still fit into some of her clothes from last summer! I have to get out stuff that I thought I'd put away for good and see what might still work. It's also just getting warm here so she hasn't needed those clothes yet.
I'm also thinking of placing an order from Primary, @Mrs. Lemon-Lime: you find the quality good?

Target. Almost exclusively. And small shops for t-shirts.

@petitenoisette: the cotton is soft and colors don't fade. I think the clothes either run a tad small or shrink a bit though.

Old Navy, Target, Carters, and Children's Place. I try not to spend double digits on a single item of clothing because she outgrows them in just a few months. I'm not even sure if the summer clothes I just bought will last all the way through summer.

Normally target and old navy but I'm not really liking most of old navy's stuff this year. I surprisingly found a lot of cute things, especially cotton dresses, at kohls this year.

Gap for all basics, Tea Collection for things like leggings, Hanna Andersson for bike shorts/simple play dresses. Alice & Ames has some very simple ballet dresses. Remie Girl also has simple, solid colored dresses (their day dresses are really cute!).
