@MrsADS: Look at the madewell whisper cotton tanks (very light and airy) and I would just pair those with a great pair of cut offs or the JCrew chino shorts (4 inch inseam is my favorite).
Comfy havaiana flip flops or silver/gold/copper birkenstocks. (I keep repeating myself sorry!)
I know it's not the same as Florida heat, but NYC in the summer is also brutal with all the concrete and little breeze because of buildings. I've found the above is the best option on those days.

@MrsADS: I wear chino shorts in lots of different colors. I like the ones from J Crew (or J Crew Factory). They are cotton. Also lots of knee length dresses. Pair that with some cute sandals and I feel pretty put together.

@SweetiePie: I'm the same way with basic tee shirts most days. In the fall I do a tee with skinny jeans, cardigans and scarves or statement necklace. Summer is tough because I don't like layers when I'm hot so I'm trying to introduce more patterns/more interesting shirts. Another option is patterned or more colorful bottoms with a plain tee.
@looch: I got this skort, but have yet to try it out. http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?vid=1&pid=596974002

@sweetiepie @looch @mrs. pickle thanks, I will look into that! Last weekend I bought a pair of chino shorts at Ann Taylor Loft that I really like. They are chino but not so wrinkly looking if that makes sense. Like a softer, smoother fabric. I got them in dark pink and I think I'm going to get another pair. I need to look for tank tops though. Maybe try Jcrew or something. I am about to go on two trips so I need some stuff like that.

@MrsADS: also look at J Crew factory for tanks. Very affordable and similar to the regular J Crew and Madewell tanks.

Here's my slouchy TGIF outfit today. The kimono pattern hides mess from the baby and its easy to change out my tank (again more baby mess). Shoes are sandals and I wear a small crossbody purse on the go. I wouldn't usually do a gray tank under this - would prefer cream or white - but that's what was clean! I also prefer to wear navy or blue bottoms with this particular kimono but again the black ones were clean today!

@Mamaof2: I love how light and airy it is! And DH really loves it for some reason so I find I wear it pretty frequently for a bold pattern!

@gingerbebe: @Mamaof2: where is it from? I have something similar from H&M

Have you looked into Trendsend? There was a recent blog post:
http://www.hellobee.com/2017/05/19/trying-trendsend-a-new-subscription-service/
Evereve specifically caters to moms so it seems like it would be a better service then stitch fix, as an alternative to not being able to see a stylist in person, like at Nordstrom.
