I let my girls eat snacks pretty much wherever in the house but I should really make them sit at the table, they make such a mess! Do you make your LO sit at the table to eat snacks or do you let them roam the house?

On special occasions she can eat her snacks on the couch. Typically she eats them at the table, her table or on the island where her learning tower is.

Roaming the house! I don't tend to give her anything really messy though.

I have them sit at the table to contain the mess. I also worry about choking because my 2 year old would totally jump up and down while snacking if I let her!

Almost always at the table in her high chair. She's too messy and I don't want even more crumbs everywhere, plus I really don't want to encourage her to feed the dog!

usually LO is standing on his stepladder, right at the kitchen counter/pantry/wherever he found the snack while rummaging through our kitchen.

He stands at the coffee table for his snacks - I don't really know why!

Oh man, I wouldn't even consider giving him a snack to roam around with. He'd either get it all over the floors and/or walls, or drop it on the floor then eat it, or feed it to the dog. Or the dog might try to steal it if it's cheese. All food in our house is consumed from the safety of the high chair .

Up until about 2 weeks ago they were always at the table. Now we usually picnic on the floor together

I let them snack anywhere except bedrooms/bathrooms. We have a kid size table in our family/play room that I try to keep snacks contained to (outside of the kitchen/dining room) but I'm not a stickler.
