Looking for a cocktail dress for a fall wedding- under $75 is usually my budget. I normally hit up TJMaxx.com but not finding anything.

i usually find myself in the lord and taylor dresses section they have all different price points and a pretty decent clearance section, I always get complemented and i usually spend under $75. They are having a huge online sale right now as well.

I have had good luck with Nordstrom rack and off saks, both online. You can return to the store for free and they have free shipping over a certain dollar amount. I haven't had nearly as much luck shopping in store at those places though.
I tried rent the runway and it was fine but I really don't like not being able to try on until the day before.

I forgot about RtR! But it's not a superrr fancy wedding so if renting I'll be ever more frugal. Plies I'll have a weird 4 month bump to deal with.

@pachamama: ThredUp! Tons of cocktail dresses (from so many great places/designers including WHBM, one of my faves), many brand new with tags, and 1/3 (or less) of what you would pay retail.
