I just bought a super amazing old style Victorian doll house from a friend for TEN bucks, it needs some work on the interior to finish it, but I am super excited about it and will be giving it to DD (4) for Christmas.
Any ideas on where to get furniture for it cheap? I keep seeing Hape / Plan toys but it seems expensive when you need 6 or 7 rooms worth of stuff! I guess I could also just leave it un-furnished but I think she'd really love furniture!

Try your local dollar store... ours has several kinds of unpainted wood dollhouse furniture for $1.25 each... dressers, desks, etc.

I walked by a dollhouse display with furniture at IKEA last week. Might be worth looking at if you live close to one. http://m.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/art/50263150/

@HappyBaker: I will say they looked large but I was passing by quickly. I have a 4 year old son so our house is filled with cars and trucks and I only half glanced at it.

@HappyBaker: If you don't mind buying from China, try Aliexpress. I'm blown away by the variety and some are so detailed.
Another alternative would be Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters furniture and Lundby.
