1. Your husband is a groomsman (guys are wearing full piece suits)
2. Your son is the ring bearer
3. It's at a golf course in November and starts at 2:30pm
4. Light food is served (as opposed to a formal sit down dinner.)

I think any would work, so if YOU like one best, wear that one. But I like magnolia best- I think it’s the most adaptable to different formality levels, very pretty and a little bit different. I think the first one would maybe be a bit formal- plus I personally wouldn’t want to wear a strapless dress if my LO was going to be there.

@Foodnerd81: That's a great perspective! It's hard because this wedding is both formal/not formal.

The first one seems to formal for what your described but the rest all look great so I’d pick whichever of those you like best!

I absolutely love the first one but it does seem a bit formal and would be hard to wear while dealing with LO. I voted for the magnolia but I also really like the blue dress.

The strapless and magnolia are my favorites. I voted for magnolia because the neckline is interesting and less formal/ more daytime than the strapless.

@crazydoglady: the way I see it if you love your dress and feel confidant in it, that makes a bigger impact than if it’s a little over or under formal.
But I really do love be magnolia.

@catgirl: do you think poplin fabric (the blue dress) is too casual?
nectarine / 2018 posts
@crazydoglady: for evening, yes. But not for 2:30 in the afternoon. It looks like it could be easily dressed down or dressed up.

I agree with a lot of the others - the first one is too dressy, all the others would be fine. I voted magnolia because it’s my favourite but they’re all gorgeous - you have great taste!

@catgirl: My thoughts, too! I think it would make a good date night dress.

Considering it’s 2:30 and light fare, I think the blue is the most appropriate. The other ones look too formal/evening wear to me.
The blue one with a strappy heel and fun earrings.

@SweetiePie: Great idea! Any ideas on type of earrings? I am kind of clueless with earrings...

@crazydoglady: Maybe something like this:

@SweetiePie: Love! Thank you! I also saw these but I don't know if it's too matchy.

I love the blue. Love. I also really like the earrings you posted. Maybe a satin, nude peep toe?

@ladybee: Great idea! I was thinking something like this but nude would be a great option and great for future use!

@ladybee: Agreed! So I ordered the blue dress and have the earrings, shoes, and clutch in my Amazon shopping cart. Last question: the shoes above or these? Thank you for your input!

@crazydoglady: I like the classic look of these better. Plus I feel like you’d get more use out of these.

I think the blue dress is cute and fun but I feel like the nude sandals you just posted are too casual, I feel like you need a higher heel. I think something like these are cute:

Third dress hands down!! The first one seems too formal, the second one not dressy enough since your husband is a groomsman in full suit, and the third one was the one I just said WOW!

@Ina85: I agree, I think the nude patent sandals posted are too casual. Almost like something to wear to work, not a semi-formal event.
I’ll see if I can find anything else too!

@SweetiePie: @Ina85: Thank you! I am a flats girl, so I appreciate the advice!
Eta: I found these and I think they would be perfect for someone like me who NEVER wears heels since they are stacked. Might be better for the grass at the golf course, too
