Our daughter will be 9 months old at Halloween. It's my favorite holiday, so I'm already entertaining ideas.
Have you thought about costumes yet? Feel free to post pictures or link to them!

I thought I'd say peacock because I made DD a peacock tutu for her first Halloween but OMG the shark - super adorable!!!

They are all super cute! M was a mouse last year.
I would be concerned about those (other than the devil) for a 9 month old though. If she's crawling those may limit that, and that would really piss M off!! I might consider something a little more crawling (or even walking??) friendly!

I love the shark, it was a real toss up between that and the peacock, but I voted peacock!

Love the peacock! R was 4 months old for Halloween last year and she was a strawberry from Carter's. This year she's going to be a ladybug, also from Carter's.

Peacock!
C was 6 months for her first Halloween, and she was Princess Leia. lol. She was Batman last year and I think she and I are going to be Sen and a Soot Sprite from Spirited Away this year.

The peacock is super cute, but if you plan on holding her for awhile or even while sitting in the stroller, I think the shark or devil would be better.
DS was 4 months last Halloween, and I held him the entire time we went trick or treating, and my arms definitely were sore/crampy that night!

Peacock! Shark is a close second. I chose peacock because even if you take pictures of her on her back - the costume will translate better in the photos. Does this make sense?
