I like #2, and I think you wear a navy dress or do dark jeans with a red shirt to compliment without being matchy matchy.

I agree with #2. Wear something you feel good in that is simple, pattern free and not black. I like the idea of dark denim and a cute top.

Yellow top is a perfect summer yellow. Dark jeans will work. Do you have anything lighter weight or color you could pair with the shirt?
