Looking to pick up some sunscreen. I'd like it to be nice and natural but obviously fabulous at protecting delicate baby skin.
Anyone have any recos?

@Bao: really?! We have been using it and I'm so disappointed. I wanted to love it because of the high SPF but DH, DD & myself for burns after only 20 mins outside!
I'm looking for a new one with at least 45+ SPF. We are very fair skinned

Alba Botanicals for kids in the purple tube.

We were warned not to use sunscreen until LO is 6 months+, because everything is absorbed through the skin. So right now we're using hats and because it's not super hot long sleeves, or staying in the shade. When we hit the 6 month mark, we're planning on using California Baby.

I bought Babo Botanicals and Episencial sunscreens but haven't tried them yet.

@mrsjyw: @Bao: @Mrs. High Heels: Are you all still happy with Babyganics? I'm shopping for sunscreen and was just about to buy California Baby, but Amazon has this one in stock.

@shopaholic: Good to know! About to make my next honest purchase so adding that into my basket. I don't use the monthly bundle service, I order as needed.

@Kimberlybee: @SugarplumsMom: To be fair, I've only ever tried Badger and Honest Co. on LO. Badger was really greasy and smelly. The Honest one is thick and a bit hard to spread, but I figure that's bc of the Znc Oxide and better protection. But it doesn't smell and never has oil separation issues. I have the Alba and J&J Natural Baby - tried them on myself. But both had oil that separates from the white stuff. I also ordered SuperGoop spray for a wiggly toddler - but haven't tried it out yet (next beach day!)

I like Badger Baby! Super natural ingredients and zinc oxide, which is harder to rub in but supposed to be better.

I'm in the market for a new sunscreen. We used Aveeno baby, but I hate it. It says it's waterproof, but runs into E's eyes when it gets wet.

@littlepenguin: I heard that you shouldn't use before 6 months and that made me a little worried - I am 38+3 now so LO will be under 6 months all summer. I know keeping him in shade and wearing hats and all is important but I don't know if its practical all the time if we are out doing stuff. I will have to talk to my ped about it I suppose.

We used Badger last summer but after the recall I tossed mines out. Just bought Honest but haven't tried it yet!
