When people talk about you and SO as a couple, whose name comes first? Yours or theirs?
I feel like mine comes first, but he thinks his always comes first.

It depends on who is talking. My family says my name first and his family says his name first.

I think usually mine, but then again his family probably says it differently.

His then mine also because of flow. His ends in a hard consonant, mine (nickname at least) ends in a vowel sound. Just seems easier to say the 'n sound after hard consonant.

It depends on whose friends or family is referring to us.

Me for my family, him for his. With friends it probably depends who they are closer to / have known longer.

It depends who the person saying them is... if it's someone I know better it'll be my name and vice versa.

Mine. It changes with who we're talking to, though.
If we're talking to my family or or friends, it's me then him.
If we're talking to his family, it's him then me.

I always use his name first. I don't know what other people say though.

I agree with previous posters that it depends on who we're talking to and who they're closer to (me or the hubby) that will determine who's name comes first. If I'm writing a card (or something similar), I always write my name first.

It depends on who we're talking to. As others have said, my family, my name, his family, his name.
However, whenever I write cards I always put his name first. I think it sounds better.

DH's! Even my parents say DH then me.
