Who watched it? How do you like the new doctor? What about Missy? How awesome was the call?
Trying not to ruin it for those who haven't seen it yet.

I love the new Doctor already, but Missy just seems like River Song 2.0 to me.

I haven't seen it yet, although I read a spoiler-ful synopsis, haha! I need to find it to watch!!!!
Umm and good riddance to Clara when she leaves at this Xmas special. Not a fan!

I didn't think Clara would stick around with the new doctor. I think Missy is a bit more sinister/psycho than river. She's kinda like a rogue Idris.

Um, I watched it and I don't know who this Missy person is that you guys are talking about! Did I miss something huge???
I'm not a huge fan of the new doctor or Clara. I miss Amy and Rory and the old doctor. Or even more, I miss David Tenant and Billie Piper (Rose)!

I love the new Doctor. They gave him so great lines despite it being a subpar episode. I generally liked Clara from last season, but she was as bad as Amy with the whining. She's worse than my toddler on it. I'm excited for the new season.

I think Clara is charming and likable but they never really developed her character. Spunky and cute isn't enough to make a companion interesting.
I miss Donna Noble. She was the best.

@night cheese: thanks for that link! I hadn't heard Clara was leaving. I'm not surprised Moffatt has added a new character.
I liked Capaldi and he made me laugh out loud several times, but I'll admit I miss Matt Smith's goofy fun style. I'm excited to see what direction the new Doctor will take though!
As for Clara, I like her okay, but she's not my favorite (Rory forever!) I hope the new companion will be a guy, because I feel like Moffatt writes better for male characters. And I'll give this Missy a chance, but she reeks of River or The Eyepatch Lady. But sometimes a season-long arc is really cool, so I'm hoping for that.
