We had to get in the car so he could go play at the gym. I'm a mean mom.

OMG we have had hysterics today. First he cried this morning because he didn't want one of his little friends to play with his scooter (but he didn't want to play with it either). Then he cried because he didn't want to wear his helmet while riding his scooter. He cried like 10 times from frustration while trying to ride his scooter. he cried when I took him off the slide after he kept trying to climb up it. He cried when we got home and I helped him (forced him) to wash his hands. He cried when I asked him to sit down for lunch. And then he cried that he wanted to take a nap. So he is napping now. And I am wishing I had a good stiff drink.

She already nursed twice within a 30 minute span (She's 13 months) & I was trying to get us some breakfast so I said no when she asked again & she was very upset. Some snuggling helped but I've never seen her so upset over nursing before.

- He woke up
- I changed his diaper
- I took off his pjs
- I put on his shirt
- I gave him his inhaler
- I brushed his teeth
- I set him down so I could get some stuff ready
- I buckled him into the car seat
- I didn't let him crawl all around the back seat after unbuckling him from the car seat

@hilsy85: Yeah, except I at least got to drop him into the arms of a willing teacher and now am getting a break from all the drama! And despite his day, I know when I get home, he'll be all "MAMA!" and excited to see me, so that will make up for it all! Hope the rest of your day gets better!

I put her down cause I needed to blow dry my hair
DH took the yogurt smoothie from her cause she spilled it everywhere

I let him try to go to potty again. He had a minute, wanted more, needed to get out the door. Meltdown city. I picked him up in the middle of a tantrum and let him work it out in the car on the way to daycare.

Because I put him in his play area by himself so that I could put my shoes on.

LO 1 -
He had to climb out of bed since I can't pick him up right now.
I wouldn't let him grab his little brother's face, poke his eye, squeeze him hard, etc.
His cup was empty.
I wouldn't let him throw his wooden blocks.
I wouldn't let him smash crayons into the white rug.
I made him practice walking.
I wouldn't let him climb on top of his little brother during tummy time.
His toy ran out of batteries.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was interrupted by a commercial.
I couldn't stop feeding his brother to hold him instead every time he wanted me to.
LO 2 -
He was hungry.
I made him do tummy time.
Yep. Newborns are a lot easier than toddlers.

Because I tried to dress her, because I offered her water, because I took her snack cup away when we arrived at gym class, because I gave her pasta. Thank God for nap time!
