Half way through pregnancy with LO 1. My breasts are changing soooo much. I can only imagine what they'll look like after one or two more. I will seriously consider a lift and nipple reconstruction after I'm done with kids. I don't have a problem with plastic surgery if it is something that makes you feel better about yourself. Will you be considering cosmetic surgery after you are done having kids?

I will likely require a breast reduction post-kids. They already gave me back pain before I ever got pregnant and pregnancy #1 has made them so much bigger!

If I could afford it, yes. But my LOs college education, family vacations and going back to school (myself) come first...so I probably won't have any procedures done anytime soon.

@Ree723: Same here. The only corrective surgery I would ever consider is vision correction surgery.

Honestly I will never say never - it really depends how my body adjusts when I'm done having kids. I had two big babies and my skin is super stretched out and while it bounced back pretty good after the first one - it is kind of just hanging there as the weight comes off this second time. If I lose the baby weight after I am done have kids and if the loose skin bothers me I may consider having that fixed. But a big part of me doesn't want to have elective surgery where I'd have to go under anesthesia.

I had a BR pre-preg and would not hesitate to get another post baby if I needed another, but so far they have stayed in pretty good shape. A bit saggier of course, but thankfully no bigger!
I don't think I could justify the cost of plastic surgery....so many more things I'd rather spend my money on!

Absolutely, if I feel like I can't get the results I want from working out. I would totally get a boob lift and tummy tuck once we're done having kids.

Not saying never, but not likely. Too expensive. But we will see how things are after baby #2. I bounced back pretty quickly after my first. Saggy boobs I can just get good bras.

i'd consider a tummy tuck if moderate eating and exercising don't work after a few years. also, i don't know how much it costs, that would be a factor also.

Probably not. I guess the way I look just isn't a high enough priority to go through the effort and expense of surgery. I'm not finished BFing yet, but my boobs are uneven and my nipples are weird. I don't know if that will change once I'm done nursing, but not that many people see my boobs so I'm sort of whatever about it. My stomach looks better one year PP than it did before!

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't. I don't have the best self image and my body is definitely not the same after having a baby, but I'd rather spend the money on a personal trainer, high quality bras and clothes that make me feel good. FWIW I did a bra fitting at Nordstrom and splurged on some new bras and they make a huge difference in how I look and feel.

I'm fairly certain I'm going to get a tummy tuck. I am never going to "love" my stretch marks or appreciate them or any of that crap. They make me miserable. There are several cosmetic surgeons in my area who have their flat rate packages posted and it's about 5k, and you can finance it. I don't think that's terrible. Once I'm working full time I can start saving for it.

No way. I absolutely hate my stomach post two back to back pregnancies but I have diastasis from them and that's a pretty major surgery (not just a tummy tuck) and the recovery is pretty awful.

Theoretically, I say that I would.....but in real life, when I think about $10-12,000 plus the pain of the surgery and recovery....bleh, I'm a big wuss. I might just commit to wearing a burka for the rest of my life instead.

Meh. The only person that sees me tummy besides me is DH and he is proud of what my body has done. Other than that there nothing that some time at the gym and some spanx can't fix.
I also don't want to take time away from my girls for cosmetic reasons. And I'm not sure I want to give them the message that I need surgery to be beautiful. -
Yes, absolutely. Life is too short to walk around in skin you are not comfortable in. That said, it's low on my list, so probably won't happen just because I'd rather save $$ for traveling, or retirement or whatever.

Sure, if it would make me happier! We have a plastic surgeon in the family and only have to pay for the cost of materials, so it would be reasonably priced! It would have to be something pretty major about my body that made me very uncomfortable, though. As someone who has suffered with an severe eating disorder and body image issues in the past, I'm actually at a place where I have learned to accept my body as it is, so I wouldn't be running to make minor changes before trying to change my perception of them.

I would like to get LASIK surgery, does that count? Otherwise no way. I have had a couple surgeries (not cosmetic) in the past and would never opt to have any other surgery unless medically necessary.

LASIK is the only thing I've considered and even that kinda freaks me out if I think about the super rare consequences that would change my entire life. So other elective surgeries probably aren't for me.

I'd love to have bigger boobies because I've always had small boobies (except when I was preggo and nursing), but I cringe thinking about the recovery and cost for said surgery so probably not.

Definitely! But first I would make myself really try to lose the weight and work at it before. This tummy is not going away without surgery - I'm pretty sure. I have breast implants now. I would probably take those out and get a tummy tuck. Yes, it's expensive but to me it would be worth it. I don't like my stretch marks and I doubt I ever will. I say if I'm not happy with it then fix it!
