I just talked to my doctor - I declined HCG blood tests this time. They were perfect last time, and look how that turned out. Instead, I scheduled my first ultrasound for 11/14 when I'll be 6.5/7 weeks. Until then....my mantra...."today I am pregnant with a healthy baby."

I feel like my line was lighter tonight. I should really stop testing, but I can't. I missed my period and all, but It is hard to believe this could actually end well.

Try to remind yourself that comparing darkness of lines is not reliable. Take it day by day. Today you are pregnant and good things can and will happen to you.

@winniebee: Mine didn't get darker for weeks! And, contrary to my previous pregnancies where my line was darker in the morning, this time my lines were always darker in the afternoon. Hormone surges are weird. Anyway, step away from the tests! I know firsthand that it's hard, but it's not going to help you to over-analyze it.
