I probably have enough, but in case there are other ideas out there, I'd love some clothing recommendations for winter tops and dresses that work for maternity AND discreet postpartum nursing. I'm not a big fan of the 2-shirt method. I prefer 3/4 length sleeves, by far, and price is definitely a concern. I've already looked at everything on Amazon and Latched Mama. Links appreciated

I’m not even sure I’ll nurse but I got this sweater because I just love it regardless. I’ve worn it twice this pregnancy and got so many compliments. ASOS actually has a lot of nursing clothes in general.

The Canadian stores I find stuff at doesn’t shop to the states, but my favourite nursing stuff is surplice or faux wrap tops, tunics, and dresses. I wore some empire waist versions of these kinds of tops and dresses while pregnant and wear them while nursing and they work excellently for both and are so easy to slip your breast out, the material Just has to be the stretchy kind. Then you can just wear a thin cardigan or a thick cardigan over top of you like. It’s too bad you’re in the u.s. as I just ordered a tunic length 3/4 sleeve floral faux wrap top and if feel it works well for work too.
So maybe searh those terms at any stores you shop at online and see if they have anything?

I don’t really like the one shirt up down thing either because I dislike having all that extra fabric up at my neck. I have started just wearing Walmart nursing tanks with a shirt over top. Removing the entire top shirt and nursing and then replacing.

@Mrs. Goose: thanks for the input! I agree, I pretty much just wore stretchy tops first year after LO's birth, I didn't buy any nursing clothes. But LO still wants the boobs 5 months after weaning and I think he's going to go crazy when LO2 is here, so I was kind of looking for tops that cover more skin, especially in the chest area.

I bought two dresses and four tops from Amazon, and these are the ones I ended up keeping, great for maternity and I think for nursing. I have a couple of tank-tops in mind too, but I'm waiting to buy those in summer.
