Push themselves to sit-up?
Get on all fours (just up, not rocking)?
I know all babies are different and I should logically not worry at this point, but emotions do get in the way.

with first, about 9 months to get up properly on all fours and then pull herself up to stand holding couch. currently my LO is almost 8 months (on the 23rd) and she can get on all fours but is wobbly and mostly just rocks a bit. she isn't properly crawling on all fours, just tummy/commando crawling.

K was sitting, crawling and everything at 6 months, so when Max still hadn't done that by 8 months I was getting a little concerned. But he started rocking on all fours at about 8.5 months, and now at 9.5 months he is crawling, pushing into sitting position, and pulling up on things!

I had the slowest baby on the block. LO1 wasn't sitting until 11 months and not crawling until 12 months. He was pulling up before that though and was a super fast army crawler.
LO2 was faster, she was sitting and crawling at around 8-9 months.
ETA: He is now a running, jumping, tumbling 3 year old. So even though he was slow to start he has now totally caught up with his peers.

My first sat up earlier than my second at around 6.5 months. LO 2 pushed to sit up at 7 months.
Up on all fours : LO 1: 7.5 months, LO 2: 8.5 months, but army crawling before, then he realized he could get up on all four and crawl faster.

Pushing up to sit was around 7 months and on all 4s was about 8 months. He crawled at 9 months.

LO sits great when I put him down for long periods but doesn't push himself up onto his bum or all fours at all. No attempts to crawl, never really liked tummy time though he rolls around to get everywhere (and everything he wants).
I lay him on his tummy and he immediately goes onto his back. Has always pushed up with his heels to raise his bum when on his back and rocking that way.
He is almost 9 months

DD could sit herself up at 4.5 months and started getting on all 4s at 5 months. She was crawling at 5.5 months.

@Mrs. Pickle: was there anything you did to encourage it or she just did it?
Maybe I just have a lazy boy

@babycanuck: I think it's just her. I didn't do anything that other parents don't as far as I know. She just doesn't like to be still.

@babycanuck: I wouldn't worry too much. LO1 was up on all 4s at 8 months and rocked for a good month without going anywhere. He finally started crawling at 9 months, and just then was able to get into a sitting position. He then went to pulling up immediately.
I was getting really worried with LO2. He was like a turtle on his back whenever he was on his belly. Screaming and flailing like he had no idea how to get out of that position. He turned 9 months, and literally 2 days later, he went from that to pushing up on all 4s, getting into a sitting position, diving forward to start crawling and pulling to standing overnight. He's now 9.5 months and he's cruising along everything...I have no idea where this kid came from!

He could sit up around 5 months and he pushed himself up onto all fours at 7 months.

My three were all sitting around four months. Getting to sitting around five months and crawling before six months.
Having early movers is not all it's cracked up to be.

Push themselves to sit-up? She started pushing to sit up around 7 months I think.
Get on all fours (just up, not rocking)? It was definitely after her nine month birthday. She didn't walk until 14 months and she hasn't stopped moving since.

My first started sitting up at 7 or 8 months and started crawling at 9 months

@babycanuck: He didnt sit reliably until 6.5-7 months!!! He started getting up on all fours and rocking early (4.5-5 months) but still isnt properly crawling at almost 8 months now!

LO was sitting at seven months. He hated tummy time and never tried to crawl. Never got on all fours. Once he was sitting up he started scooting around on his bottom like a little monkey. Lol. He just wasn't in a hurry to go places. He started walking around 14 months after many months of us holding his hands walking.

Every baby has their own timeline. My kiddo started army crawling at 6 months, and was fast and very mobile with it. But she didn't start sitting until 7 months, and even then it was infrequent. She didn't get up on all fours until 9 months, but had been pulling up, cruising, and climbing everything for months at that point.

I have no idea. Neither of those were milestones that burned into my memory. DD was slow with all her gross motor milestones but that stuff fades away into history so quickly! DD is only 15 months now and only started walking a couple weeks ago but already all that seems like a million years ago (now that we're having to, like, chase her to stop her from petting strange dogs or running into the street). Your DS will be there before you know it.

@babycanuck: DD didn't really do either of those things until 9.5 or 10 months. She'd just roll or scoot backwards until then. Started crawling at 10.5 months, and started pulling up and cruising about the same time. She's 12 months now and I think will start walking pretty soon.
DD has always been an observant child and not particularly into exploring (even now that she's mobile she never goes far). I think she was content to sit and bark orders at us

@babycanuck: Also, our good friend's son is also 12 months and he has NEVER gotten onto all fours, pushed to sit, or crawled. He's always had zero interest in being on his stomach. But he started taking steps at 11 months!

LO crawled a week after he turned 6 months. So he probably was up on all 4s around 5 months. I know he was rocking on all 4's for a solid month before he started crawling.
He didn't sit for a few weeks after that. He would lean on his arm but not sit completely straight up without support until close to 7 months. He was/is also a belly sleeper from the beginning so constant tummy time all night long.
