Has anyone tried Wolford tights? I am considering splurging on a pair but wanted to see if anyone loved them and thinks they are worth $50? I wear tights a lot in the winter and can not find another brand I like. I've tried Gap, Hue, H&M and none of them fit right or last very long. Any other brands of black, opaque tights you love?

I really liked American Apparel super opaque tights when I used to wear skirts to work. I used to wash them in the washing machine and they held up great.

Wolford tights are amazing... way too expensive, but amazing.

I have never heard of them but holy wow I have never seen tights cost so much! How long do they last?
I buy mine from Ann Taylor Factory - every year at black friday they're 50% off so I get them for $6.50 each, they easily last the whole year for me. I'm really happy with them.

@mrs. pen: people claim they are super comfortable, feel great and last for years! They are the best rated every time I look on line. And they are always name-checked in fashion magazines and there is a Wolford store in NY although I have never been in.

Spanx assets from Target are my go to tights. I have had the same pair for like 3 years. They fit great, are comfy and look great.

I've had a pair of merino tights from Falke for two years and they are still amazingly warm and appropriate for my office (which tends to be both chic and formal... Lots of sheath dresses etc. I'd never pay $60 for regular 200dn tights, but for merino it was worth it. I suspect wolford tights would be the same.

I love Wolford tights. Pretty Polly tights are along the same lines incredible and a little cheaper than Wolford.
