I loved this article about two parents who moved to Russia and put their kids into a local school:

The kids cried and cried, but now they are completely fluent in the language and the culture. Wow, what an experience! I would love for Charlie Bee and his sister to experience that some day. But it does impose a lot of pain on the kids during the transition... so maybe not.

I don't know. My mom went through this when she moved to America, although she had studied it before coming over. Plus she was an adult when she moved.

What do you guys think: would you ever move overseas and have your kids learn a new language and culture?
