I moved to a tropical climate, so it is pretty darn hot here... and in the past few days, the humidity has been crazy! It finally rained so it's a bit better today, but I learned that I find it difficult to survive hot and humid weather!
Very very cold weather is no joke either, so I'm not sure which I prefer: tropical weather, or very cold winters. You?

Hot and humid. No competition. I've survived Canadian (Montreal specifically) winters my whole life and I would have happily give up the cold and snow and everything that comes with it forever and move to a tropical climate.

Hot and humid all the way. I am a horrible person when I'm cold. I can handle being hot. Sometimes I even think it feels nice for a split second when you walk outside and the air is like a wall. But only for a second lol

Hot and humid! My body does not deal well with cold climates or seasons (and especially the dry central heating that comes along with them)--I start to physically fall apart. Also, sunshine makes a huge difference to me.

I live in Texas so I also wouldn't survive anywhere else, it can be 78 outside and I swear I don't even turn the air on in my car. The cold ain't for me.

If there's no AC, then I'll take the extreme cold. If there's AC, it's a different matter... but there's not much of it in most tropical places.

Cold. I grew up in the South Pacific, lived in central Texas, and now I live in New England. I'm definitely happier here! You can always add layers, but you can only take off so much clothing!

Hot! I can slow down and adjust to heat. But the outside cold makes me tense up and not want to be outside at all.

Cold. You can always dress warmly but you can only take off so many layers and I hate humidity - feeling sticky all the time is the worst.

Assuming no climate control, I'd go for cold, there are so many technical fabrics now that will keep you warm with no bulk.

I live in a climate that goes from one extreme to another. -40 celcius in the winter, +30 in the summer. I think it's a good mix, I don't think I would like it if it was the same all year round. I'm usually sick of Winter by February. I don't really get sick of the heat in the summer, but it is super short (usually only two really great, hot months as opposed to 4 months of extremely cold winter).
I would have to say I prefer the hot though, because sometimes the extreme cold is just too cold to be outside.
But I like having both!

Cold for sure. I spent two years of my life living in the Amazon, and it was hot & humid all the time and I just about died. Humidity is my worst enemy. Clothes wouldn't dry properly, everything had a mildew smell, it was impossible to cool down, there were weird-ass bugs everywhere, I had ringworm constantly despite taking every precaution...no thank you. I'd rather live in a cold, dry climate!!

Cold. For sure.
I spent a summer in Vietnam with no AC (just fans) and rolling blackouts, and the nights with no electricity and no fan were brutal. I couldn't sleep at all and would just toss and turn, sweating in bed. Disgusting.
And I would take a shower and my hair would never fully dry on my neck--so it was constantly damp and gross. And I would hang clothes to dry on the covered roof and it was so humid they would take 3 days to dry and they were still dampish when you put them on.
Just gross--so gross.
