My company pretty much shut down at 3:30 today. We have to stay until 5pm, though due to new rules the owner implemented earlier this year. So, people have been drinking and playing cornhole (inside) since 4. But we would be frowned upon if we left. I really wish I could leave...

Because I do daycare pick up (and well I'm pregnant) this would annoy me. Couldn't drink and forced to stay when I could go be with my LO! Maybe occasionally it would be fun if DH could do pick up and I actually liked my coworkers

I would stay and try to have a good time. Most of my coworkers are fun to hang out with in social settings.

My choice would always be to go home if I could but since I knew I couldn't I know my coworkers and I would make the best of it and have fun.

Depends... I've been at my desk bored to death and waiting for time to pass but if I was entertained by watching others, I could stay. Time flies when you are having fun.

Usually I'd say go home, but that sounds like fun! And a good way to bond with co-workers. Since it's only an hour, I would enjoy it

I would love to hang out with my co-workers! I'm anyways rushing here, there and everywhere, picking up E, and never get chance to socialise after work.

It depends on the co-workers. I've had some very fun co-workers that were/still are my good friends so it would have been fun to drink with them at work. I drank with them outside of work anyway.
