This is hypothetical because I doubt you could make it to delivery without knowing you were having twins these days.
I bet having surprise twins would be really overwhelming! I would rather think I'm having a girl, have all girl clothes and a girly nursery, and give birth to a boy instead of being surprised by twins.

twins. just because it would be a bonus baby and then one less time I would be pregnant. (not that pregnancy isn't a blessing and whatnot, but omg, so uncomfortable at the end).

Twins! And it can happen as my sister didn't know she was having twins until there was another one after the first came out. That was only 7 years ago.

Would definitely rather be surprised by sex. We would need a new car, home, everything for twins. I'd want to be prepared! Dressing a boy in girls clothes? Whatever.

I think twins would be a blast but I already have my hands full with 2 already so I'd rather be surprised by gender when we have a 3rd.

I would love love love to have twins but not surprised at birth. I think there are months of planning (mostly financial) for twins.
I would vote wrong sex instead.

Definitely wrong sex! It has taken me awhile to feel at ease with having twins. That surprise at birth might be too much to handle after the instant joy wears off.

Wrong sex! Twins scare me. I think I would need 9 months to prepare for that.
DH is a twin and his mom didn't know that she was having twins until they were born

Twins!! For my first pregnancy I was actually hoping the whole time there was a secret twin in there... and was actually slightly disappointed after delivery that there wasn't a surprise twin - even though I knew it was extremely unlikely... haha

Gender, so much easier to "correct." The thought of scrambling to find daycare for 2 infants instead of one (our daycare has one opening not two) would be scary.

I would spend a week weeping if I had twins, especially surprise twins. OMG, no. I could honestly care less about the sex. Worst case, my son wears a bunch of pink clothing? Who cares!

OMG surprise twins?! I realize that used to be people's reality but now I would be completely shocked.
We already have one and miiiiight try for a second but we are definitely not planning on a third. So twins would take a lot of emotional, logistical and financial adjustment.
