I haven't really been a fan of the 'stylish' ones listed above, but I kind of don't hate this look... maybe because it's not trying to hide from the fact that it's a fanny pack and it's just embracing it for what it is?
ETA: It doesn't hurt that she's little and has cute clothes, I guess

@swurlygurl: I was looking for "fashionable " fanny packs to see if I like them.... And nope!
But your first picture there is what 99% of America will actually look like if fanny packs come back. Huge pack stuffed to the brim and making your body look bigger, frumpy clothes with the fanny pack cutting you right in half.... Yikes.

@Anagram: Haha, yeah, you're probably right! Just look at how our purses keep getting bigger and bigger!

@swurlygurl: yeah, she's cute but she's skinny and probably 18. It's kind of like shiny leggings-- hideous on most people except the super fashionable, thin, or very young.

I totally want to be confident enough to wear one because they are oh so functional, but I am not.... One thing though is they are and have been pretty popular and fashionable in other countries for a long time, most places they are a pretty major theft risk, people just cut the strap and there goes your stuff!

oh probably not...I just don't think I could get myself to do it.

I wish they were fashionable because they are so practical!
Alas, I will stick to my crossbody bags.

Nope! I think a small crossbody accomplishes the same thing, and it doesn't add that bulky look to the waistline.

@Mrs. Bee: Madonna approves of you wearing a fanny pack. I just saw this and thought of you (scroll down for the fanny pack entry): http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/madonnas-opinion-on-completely-random-things

I thought this thread was a joke at first!
My first inclination is absolutely not. But, I thought the same thing when skinny jeans came out... I held out several years but then gave in. We'll see!

Yep, I got a Kipling one signed by Fergie as a gift. I wore it once when I had a garage sale.

I was just wondering whether fanny packs were a thing. My younger cousins have been using them. Personally, I don't think I would, but some of the ones posted on here are really not that bad!

This one is kind of cute. I still can't pull it off, but I can see a woman like Aint No Mom Jeans pulling it off. Thin, wearing close fitting clothes.
No t-shirt, yoga pants, and tennis shoes with a hip pack like this.
