So right now our LO is 5 mo and usually falls asleep right around 9. Bedtime is between 8 and 8:30, and she is usually down 45-60 min after bedtime (will probably be a little shorter once she's more established with sleep training, right now it usually takes her about 15 min to fall asleep once we put her down).

She wakes up around 615-645 most days. If she ends up going to bed later for some reason, she still gets up at the same time. I tried putting her to bed at 7:30 (she was asleep by 8) earlier this week because she'd missed her last nap and was sooo tired... she woke up at 445. Sooo that sucked.

With DST I'm not sure what to do about her bedtime. I know that *most* babies her age go to sleep earlier than she does, so if we just didn't do anything her internal clock would keep on ticking the same and we could put her down between 7-7:30 and she'd be asleep around 8 and that would be normal. But if nothing changed than she'd be getting up between 515 and 545 and I'm really not cool with that.

If we work on pushing her bedtime back in small increments so it is still 8-8:30, maybe she'd push back her awake time too? When we have a one-off night where she goes to bed later she doesn't wake up later, but maybe if it was every night?

I just wish there was a way to try know because it seems like if we move her bedtime back and she's getting up really early still, and then we move it earlier that is a lot of back and forth and change for her.

What would you do? What are you going to do?
