Those were the words spoken to us by our licensing social worker on our final day of foster/adoption training classes this past Saturday. Not going to lie, I nearly cried. :0)

That is so sweet - congratulations on completing your course!!
I remember not long ago there were ads on TV about fostering/adopting that showed different scenarios with their kids and the tagline was essentially, "you don't have to be perfect to be a perfect parent". They got me all melty. I think you can still find them on youtube.
