So, we found a fire station near our house that does birthday parties! And it's cheaper than a lot of other venues we were looking at! I think she'll love it. So much planning to do, and not enough time to do it. We're fully booked every weekend from here till her birthday. Plus, she LOVES birthday parties and asks when her birthday will be. We're doing a donut brunch theme from 10-12. No real food, just donuts, coffee, juice. Her sister's 1st birthday party is the week before DD1's birthday, so I'm looking at a week or two after the actual day. I really love the idea of doing a Polar Express themed PJ party with brunch. Alternately, we're considering an outer space themed party with a rocket ship moon bounce. (She's crazy about astronauts right now.) I love the former - it's easier, cheaper, still cute - but worry it's less personal.
