Due to deaths on both sides of our family, our family's holiday plans, which have been the same for years and years, are very much up in the air.</p> <p>How young is too young to bring a baby to a family holiday dinner? Other than doctor appointments, this would probably be his first time out of the house, too! I know that it can be very hard to go through pages of a thread and feel like you get to know everyone. This one will be for our appointments.</p> <p>I have my first prenatal appointment/ultrasound on May 17th. I'll be 9 wks on the dot. I'm very excited, but very nervous as well! I will be (hopefully) giving birth in a birth center at the local University with a Certified Nurse Midwife. It's a very low intervention program and will hopefully be doing it it drug-free! Chanukah is super early this year, I think before Thanksgiving even, so as long as LO stays put we will be celebrating before the baby comes. We usually go to a theme park on Christmas but obviously won't be doing that this year. I'm home sick today with a nasty cold so I am occupying myself with baby thoughts.</p> <p>How are you going to announce your pregnancy? </p> <p>I want to buy my little one baby uggs- so I thought yesterday about posting a picture on facebook with our shoes, my pup's feet, and the baby uggs- in chestnut (gender neutral). Although, I feel like that's a trend and I wanted to do something unique. The other option was taking a picture with me, my husband, &amp; dog (wearing a Big Brother bandana), and hold up the ultrasound picture. I don't think I want to post a photo of the ultrasound close-up.<br /> What do you think? I just couldn't say yes cause it was way to early to tell people especially clients. So they felt bad they called me fat ....but really in reality they did cause most (or all lol) is bloat. Sigh...maybe my body is getting a jump start on things.<br /> So anyone else get that question yet? </p>
