@psw27: this is what I was going to recommend! it used to be the brand "moving comfort" but brooks bought it out in between my pregnancies. I wear a DD and don't jiggle at all while running, plus it's easy to open from the front to nurse

My boobs get out of control sized when I'm nursing but I also run long distances. This is the best, and only, bra that works in my opinion! I think it's the same as the Fiona above, but the high impact version so a little more support.

https://www.brooksrunning.com/en_us/womens-juno-sports-bra/350071.html

Comfy, no chafing, and easy to get on and off thanks to Velcro. It's my fave even when I'm not nursing!

@Foodnerd81: yeah, I only need it for when I go to the class time where I have to rush from school dropoff and nurse in the car. Part of me thinks I should just take the time to change bras after feeding and miss a couple minutes, until she drops that feeding. Was hoping for a silver bullet but probably doesn’t exist!

I second what @foodnerd81 said. I have small boobies even when nursing, but regardless, I don't nurse in a sports bra - I basically just put it on to work out, then take it off and change into a regular bra. Honestly I find the tightness uncomfortable if I'm even a little bit full, so I can't imagine wearing it any longer than necessary.

I can’t really imagine any bra with enough support for real exercising being comfortable to wear all day and nurse in. I always just changed after.

I did get a nursing sports bra by Rosie Pope that I really liked, but in a walking around type of support, not jogging. LO2 weaned well over a year ago and I still wear it when I’m wearing a racer back shirt and not aggressively exercising (but I wouldn’t wear it for Zumba or running).

Similar to this one
Rosie Pope Women's Seamless Sports Bra, White/Black Stripe https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017ZBJ976/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_XJoqCb8WN80AH

I found for actually exercising I needed to double up. Target or some other nursing sports
bra with a true sized-up sports bra on top. No matter what tried otherwise there was too much, um, volume to be contained with one bra. That shit hurt. And then after exercising I’d just pop the extra bra off

Bamboobies makes a sports nursing bra. But if you’re big boobed it might not be enough support. (I’m a 36G when pregnant/PP and while it was good for lounging it might not have worked for workouts.)

I will follow along! But really.. I have an old old sports bra from target (same one in three colors) and its great for nursing. I am able to just pop a boob out the top. So maybe you can look for a regular sports bra that allows you to do that. I am still looking for a new version! Good luck!

Finally got myself back to working out and there’s wayyyy too much bounce. I guess I need a nursing bra because anything with enough support is probably hard to pull down to nurse?

Thanks!!

@LindsayInNY: I first bought my tank top from a terribly overpriced website called Buru. Then I saw the brand is also sold at Nordstrom. And then, yes, they have their own website. Its a ribbed tank top. Thick overall and thick straps. The straps have two snaps at the top. It doesn't seem like a nursing tank and its something I can imagine keeping after I am done nursing.

Hi, second time nurser here. Four months in. I have no time for special tanks and bras.I'm always looking for something I can pop a boob out of. I'm about 34C right now, just for reference. Sports bras without padding with a tank I can pull down.

I love the anthropologie seamless layering tank as my base. It is $24 and you can usually get 20% if you wait a bit.

Then I really love the shop Splendid. Its pretty pricey, but they have these tops called "Surplice Top". Check them out. An investment, but perfect for nursing and pumping. And they look nice enough for work or church or any other place where you cant wear a muscle tank top. I have a couple from last time nursing and I'm hoping to get a couple for my upcoming birthday or christmas.

For bras, I have two from the Dairy Fairy. I needed them for pumping bras. The lace one I have is really uncomfortable. I may be willing to give it to you if you wanted to try it! I have another all plain version that is very orthopedic looking, but its so comfortable and does its job well. But still can't wear it under a thin top.

ETA: For winter, I will probably look for a "nice" muscle tank, and then wear a sweater over it. Do "nice" muscle tanks exist??

ETA: Edited one more time to add... I do have a specific nursing tank that i like ... its from Bun Maternity. Wide straps and I wear it on its own; nothing over. Check it out. Its a nice one.

Cake for nursing bras (I have the Rock Candy and the Croissant).

I used Gilligan O'Malley tanks for DD1, but loved the Naked Nursing tanks (from Amazon) for DD2. They scoop under your nursing bra so you can wear whatever you want for support and still have your stomach covered while nursing in public. Granted, you can't really wear them without something over them, but it sounds like that won't be an issue for you. Note that the 2 grey shades seem to be a thicker/stretchier material (so better for tummy control) and the black/white seem to be a lighter material (good for warm weather).

So I’ve been wearing the Target Gillian’s? maternity tank with a nursing bra. I like to feed with my stomach covered so I wear tank and pull that down and the tank has enough ability to pull. It covers my 6 month pooch well too.

I was looking at trying this combo nursing/pumping bra out from Kindred Bravely after seeing some ads for it. Available on Amazon at a decent price. I like that I wouldn't have to change bras at work for hands-free pumping and could do combo one-side nursing, one-side pumping at home if we want.

Also looking at the suggestions here - great ones so far! :)

@LBee: I second the Medela tank from Target! Wore them after my first and bought more for #2.

Currently wearing it under a t-shirt. I’m a 38D, no additional bra needed.

I use the lamaze sleep bras I buy them on Amazon. I wear them out as well and they give me enough support

@LindsayInNY: Yup! Just don't remove the pads. I'm a C/D and I can go braless in it and use it as a bra a lot under shirts.

@Silva: Ooh never heard of that brand!

@snowjewelz: I'm thinking nursing bra, tank and then open sweater on top?

@LBee: Is that a thicker tank? Like can you go braless under if you want?
