I figured we hadn't updated in months and I always get jealous of the other due date boards so let's do some updates!

Name (if you want to share): Zoey

Age/DOB: July 18, she just turned 8 months old!

Size (or most recent measurements): She was 27 inches at 6 months but she was weighed a couple of weeks ago and she was 20 lb 1 oz. She's in 12 month clothes for the most part, although they still fit loose on her and she can still squeeze into 9 month clothes.

Milestones: Her most recent milestone is sitting up on her own more regularly. She's been crawling since a little after she turned 7 months old so she's been wanting to sit up. She looks like she's trying to work on standing now and she's also figuring out how to get underneath things.

Teeth: She has her two bottom teeth but we think the top ones are coming in now.

Food: We stopped nursing at all around 6.5 months (her choice but at the time I didn't know it was due to teeth) and stopped breast milk around 7 (my supply couldn't keep up without her nursing). So she usually has two 3.5 oz servings of food a day and 5 6oz bottles a day. Around lunchtime we also are working on table foods since she's only slightly interested in those.

Other: She's come up with this game where she crawls really fast at me or the cat with her mouth open and "bites" us then starts giggling. It's super cute, although the cat doesn't think so!

And I'll include a picture from last week.

Again, jealous of the May 2012 babies thread... so toooootally biting off of their thread!!

LO's name: Josephine (Jodie)
DOB: July 17
Due date: July 24
Delivery details: vaginal with epidural-turned-spinal, 15 mins of pushing
Birth stats: 8 lbs 1 oz, 19.5 in long
Key milestones: smiles (especially after waking up!), giggles when she's in a good mood
How's feeding going: exclusively breastfeeding / pumping, and pumping at work. She's so fussy at the breast so I rarely nurse on work days.
How's sleep going: good! We struggled for a long time but she slept thru the night two nights ago (in rock n play) and last night only had one night feeding at 2am (in crib) so I can't complain.
Other details: Also have a 2 year old at home, Wagon Jr. (RJ) who loves his baby sister so far!

Any other July mommies-to-be out there? I think I saw some other ladies with BFPs on the TWW board these past few weeks!

This is our first pregnancy and we are over the moon! It will be the first grandchild for both sides of the family (hubs is the younger of two brothers and I am an only child). We're due July 13 and my first prenatal appointment is November 29.

I am SUPER paranoid about everything, though. Not about what I eat or how I exercise or stuff like that, I just have a feeling that I am (a) not really pregnant, maybe an ectopic pregnancy or a chemical pregnancy OR (b) going to have a miscarriage. I just keep reading on other message boards about how other moms have lost their babies early on and I get all worried.

Anyone else out there who is a big of a spaz as I am?

HabesBabe on "Super quick first prenatal appt"

Sooo I just got back from my first prenantal appt. Hubs came with me, we got there, signed in, waited a bit. Then we were called into the back, I got weighed and gave a urine sample, the nurse too my blood pressure and went over my paperwork.

The dr. came in and did a quick pelvic exam, then I was asked if we had any questions. We didn't (I know, bad of us), so we were sent on our way with three appointments to make (1st U/S, 1st trimester screening, and blood work), with a follow up appt at the OB's office next month.

So, no extensive chat, no "dos and don'ts," none of that. I appreciate that our time wasn't wasted, but I guess I thought more was going to happen during our first visit?

Did anyone else have a similar experience? The dr. didn't even try to listen for a heartbeat because I'm really in the early stages (only 8 weeks). I guess we were hoping to get SOME sort of reassurance that something was in there.
