Okay mamas, we are quickly approaching 2nd birthdays!! (Cue anxiety attack!) I thought we should check in and see how we are all doing! :-) I know I keep up with lots of you on Instagram which is SO fun!!

J is such a fun toddler. He throws fits of course but is easily redirected. He's obsessed with cars, trains and planes. Loves to help feed the dogs, eat anything that's not healthy and play outside. If it's a veggie not even ranch can convince him to eat it. On the other hand, if it's a carb he will eat it! I haven't weighed him in a while but last time I did he was 30#s....no idea how tall he is either!

Tell me how your LOs are!

Junebugs...well 2012 Junebugs anyway. Our LOs are getting ready to boogie down with their bad selves at their first birthday parties! I can't believe how quickly things have come round. How is everyone's planning or lack thereof coming along?

Hi Junebugs, it has been quite a long time since we checked in with each other. I know everyone is mega busy, but I would love to hear all about your gorgeous babies, see photos and find out what everyone is up to. Plus, it is never to early to start think about all those 1st birthday parties!

If people are up for it, I was thinking that we could check in with each other every quarter or so to see what the wee ones are up to and to dish any exciting news or changes, share pictures etc. Without further ado:

Lara is 7.5 months or 33 weeks old now. She has her two bottom centre teeth and a little bit more hair. She is still EBF but is slowly getting more into solids. Right now she likes squash, sweet potato, banana and pear best.

She sleeps through the night from 7pm to 6.30am but her naps are horrible to non-existent. She is army crawling, rolling all over the place and rocking endlessly on all fours. Her crib is still in our bedroom but DH and I crash in the living room now to give her her space. We are hopefully closing on a 2 bdr apt next month so everyone should be more settled then.

She babbles non-stop and her favourite words are mama and dada. She takes breastmilk from a sippy cup now with no problems so I hope I can keep supplying it. I have been back at work for a full month now and we are doing great. I miss my girl terribly during the day, but my time with her is so much more fun because it is precious.

Hey mamas!

How are we doing ladies?! I miss you all! I'm not on here all that often...life is crazy town. Full-time working mom? Yep. Shit gets cray-cray!!! :-P

How are the little ones?? J is pretty awesome. We struggle some with sleep issues, he fights it terribly, but meh. Whatever. He's so effin' cute I can't even be mad. ;-)

How is breastfeeding? Anybody still going? I just wrote a post about how I'm really missing it even though I had a horrible time and hated it. I'm apparently a glutton for punishment.

How are your LO's sleeping? J still has a pretty strong startle reflex so it's hard to keep him asleep. He eats twice in the night, usually between 11 and 1am then anywhere between 3 and 4am.

For good measure: (please excuse the wildcat shirt...and the spitup...my MIL is obsessed with K-State and I'm a die hard KU fan so it kills me that his adorable pic is in such a horrible shirt LOL)
