Okay moms, let's try a weekly check in like we did while we were pregnant

1) how old is your LO?
2) what "games" do they like to play/what do you do in between naps and feeding?
3) are you working towards any milestones?
4) did you do anything nice for YOU this week.

June 2014 mamas-to-be roll call!

EDD: June 1

When Did You Find Out?: not sure, I don't chart

Child Number: #2

Where You Live: Texas

What kind of provider will you see?: OBGYN

When's Your First Appointment?: October 21

What kind of birth do you want?: My first baby was born via emergency c-section, so my ideal birth would be anything calmer than that. I'm still weighing my options between trying for a VBAC and scheduling a c-section. Anything that results in a healthy baby and healthy mama works for me, though.

What You're Most Excited For: Right now, I'm really looking forward to the ultrasound I'll get at my first OB appointment - this pregnancy hasn't sunk in completely yet, and hearing the heartbeat for the first time is so awesome.

What You're Most Scared About: the transition from 1 kiddo to 2

Symptoms so far: a little bit of nausea right after eating, but so far, nothing big

Share a picture of your bfp, announcement, &/or chart: none here, but share yours if you'd like :)

I can't wait to meet the other Junebug mamas!

Hi June '14 moms! Per the suggestion on the due date thread, I am starting a feeding thread. I didn't make it specific to breastfeeding since I know some of our mommies are supplementing, doing formula, etc.

My deal is that we are breastfeeding, but supplementing as necessary bc he was low weight at a 2 week appt. since then he has gained almost 1.5 lbs in 2 weeks and the ped is happy. We see her again on Monday. I'm only supplementing 1-3 feedings a day now and trying to just top him off with an ounce.
I was pumping after every feed, but it was killing me. I stopped last weekend and I think it was better for my supply to not have that stress. So I don't have breast milk to supplement with, but I'm happier and I have more time for both of my kids.
I was surprised at how long the feedings take. I don't remember it taking this long with J (but I pumped and bottle fed for the first 6 weeks with him). If I can get it done in an hour, I consider it a victory.
Anyone else have feeding challenges and successes?!?

Since we're all getting to the point where we will start finding out the sex of our babies, I thought it would be fun to put any guesses, wives tales or premonitions out there and see if we're right.

The chinese gender chart said boy and I've had two dreams about a baby boy. My sister-in-law also told me a wives tale about which side of your house the head of your bed is on (North=girl, South=boy), and our bed is against a south facing wall. After all that, I'm still pulling for a girl, but preparing for a boy. I know once the monkey is here, I'll be happy with either
