Anyone have recommendations on a warm winter coat? I’m due in May and live outside Boston so jacket time spans most of pregnancy (easily wearing winter jackets into April) so I want a maternity jacket, not just a sized up jacket. I did the GAP one last time and it was ok but it ripped right at the end of the season. Before I order it again, seeing if there are other great ideas/suggestions out there! TIA

I need help bees. We are going on a 7-10 day camping trip in December and I need a coat. I live in the desert so I normally buy something cheap from Wal-Mart and call it good, but, we're going up north and its going to be cold.

Accuweather shows its historically in the 40s for the highs and in the teens for the lows. I realize that may not be that bad to some of you, but I get cold at 70 degrees lol

Also, I'll be 21/22 weeks pregnant. I'm thinking of buying a regular coat in a larger size, but I haven't decided yet.

So, sorry for the novel, but is there anything specific you'd suggest I look for while shopping? I don't want to freeze, but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg either.

Thanks!!

Hi, I’m currently 14 weeks and need to start wearing maternity pants, but need to be able to dress up for work. I’ve outgrown even my loosest suit pants. I have dresses that are work appropriate and still fit, but in general prefer pants. I live in a relatively small town with few options for maternity wear, so I’m looking for recs for gray or black belly friendly suit pants that I can buy online. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are all Ingrid and Isabel created equally? I hear people rave about them, but am wondering if target's line is comparable to Gap's line, etc.

FWIW, they are carried on gap.com which is currently 40% off + an extra 10% off making the capris $48! I'm not in maternity clothes yet but thinking of pulling the trigger anyways.

What are your favorite leggings for pregnancy? I'm pretty sure all I have from last time is a hideous, faded 100% cotton pair :silly:

If you don't have favorite maternity leggings, what is your favorite that are high waisted that I can wear maybe through 2nd tri and again postpartum.

Please comment on how they withstand machine washing/drying. Thanks!

Do any of you ladies know a place where I can buy a pair of plus size maternity shorts. I'm looking and I'm not seeing really anything. I just need at least one pair to wear. Our summers get so hot and pants are not an option. Its January and yesterday it was 73 degrees. It can be online as well.

I'm thinking black pants I can wear to work. They do NOT have to be dress pants (prefer not) but I would like a comfortable pair with a boot cut or straight leg. Underbelly band or full belly band preferred, I can't stand the Target pants with the low back, high front.

I already have leggings and crop leggings. I just need something that isn't leggings...but will last me another 8 weeks. At this point, cost doesn't matter. :|

I am now 31 weeks and am starting to have a lot of discomfort moving around, mostly due to pelvic pain that seems centralized to where the bottom of my belly hits my pelvis. It's making it hard to walk a lot, get out of bed, or get on the floor and play with my son (and get back up!). I really can't imagine just doing nothing for the next 9 weeks- it seems too soon to be this incapacitated! I was wondering if others have dealt with this, and if so, what helped? I was thinking maybe a maternity support belt my ease it a bit, but there are so many options.... any recommendations that worked well for you? I'm also going to ask my midwife about it on Wednesday, but if I have a good recommendation, I'd love to order one ASAP.

What would you buy for summer if you would be 3-6 months pregnant during pool season - a regular tankini or a maternity suit?

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with these leggings:
http://www.boobdesign.com/products/maternity-nursing-activewear/once-on-never-off-leggings-black-xs

They look kind of see through in the picture, but the description suggests wearing them as active wear...

I've recently made a commitment to limit my clothing purchases to responsibly produced new clothing, or used clothing- and am in the market for some maternity leggings.
But used leggings kind of gross me out a little bit, and not surprisingly its hard to find maternity wear that fits my other requirement. I may just have to size up in a different brand with a lower waistband.

If you were due in the winter...what shoes did you find that were comfortable for slightly swollen feet, warm, and appropriate for an office setting?

Normally by this point in winter when it's below freezing I'm in uggs. But 1. my maternity pants aren't wide legged enough to hide the uggs and 2. my fat ankles won't fit.

I really need a pair of new winter boots, but am struggling a bit with what to get as I'm due in January. I need them to be nice enough to wear to work, and most of my maternity wardrobe is dresses. But it also can snow a lot here, so I need good traction for walking around in them nine months pregnant. And I have no idea how much I should expect my feet and calves to swell, and assume I need something that comes on and off easy. Any moms with winter babies find a boot they loved?

Ladies where do you buy good maternity work clothes?

With my last pregnancy, I was in a super casual office so I wore jeans and legging everyday. This time around I'm in a business professional setting so i need to stock up on work clothes.

Went to Pea in the Pod, Motherhood, and Macy's yesterday. They all had the same pair of black slacks which fit like a 3rd grader's sewing project. They had a million pleats on the butt (pretty sure it's my stomach that's growing, not my butt) and ran like 3 sizes too big in the legs.

I would be so appreciative of any and all suggesting on where to buy some good maternity work clothes. Thanks ladies!

My high school bff is getting married this September. For bridesmaid dresses she is letting us pick our own. She prefers floor length. It needs to be burgundy (first choice) or peach (second choice). She wants us to pick our own partly because she would like for us to be able to rewear it. So it doesn't have to be super fancy looking.

I'll be 6 months pregnant at the time of her wedding. For my previous pregnancies I wore a few non-maternity maxi dresses for my whole pregnancy. I love maxi dresses whether im preggo or not so I figured I'll just find a normal non maternity maxi dress- easy peasy!

Not so easy.... I've scoured for hours online and I can't really find anything that would work. Please help!?

Need a dress that is:
-burgundy (or peach)
-floor length or close to it
-preferably non-maternity but empire-waisted or loose around waist to accommodate a 6 mo belly
-not super flashy with potential to re-wear
-under $100

I had always ordered old navy maternity leggings (low-rise) because it was easy and cheap.

This time around I'm wondering if I should try gap and see if it's better quality. I don't need super awesome quality but the old navy ones did loose its "tightness" after awhile and looked loose on my legs after months of constant wear. Gap leggings are $17-18 versus $10/pair at old navy but wondering if it's worth it! I'd be buying at least 3 pairs.

I don't have really anything! I have winter/cold weather stuff, but not much for warm weather. I'm due Aug 19th, so I will be wearing the warm weather stuff for a little bit, but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, I'm very cheap when it comes to clothes. I definitely don't care about name brands, just comfortable honestly!

I've shopped at Old Navy and Kohl's mainly.....but I haven't been too thrilled with the options.

I'm so not in love with Old Navy & Target's current maternity offerings (they're mostly pretty boring). I'd love to find some nice summer pieces that don't look like tents, and are a little bohemian feeling. Any ideas?

I'm a size 8/10 and prefer to spend less than $25 per piece (especially since this is my last pregnancy).
