Our daughter, Margaret Clarinda, was born on Thursday, 10/27 at 11:12pm. She was due 11/5, but I had a feeling she would go early.

I started having contractions around 3:30 in the morning and they quickly ramped up to every 10 min. I thought we would have a baby by noon, but around 11 they just as quickly dropped from every 6 min to every 1/2 hour!

Finally, around dinner time, they ramped up again. We kept close track of them and left for the hospital when I had barely hit 5-1-1. I'll save all the fun details for my official birth story, but just know that we got to the hospital about 35 min before I delivered her. I was standing next to my bed getting a gown on! It was chaotic to say the least.

We're both doing well. My recovery has been considerably easy (my son was 10lbs5oz, so I'mapparently used to birthing big babies).

Clarinda (she'll go by her middle name) and I are SO looking forward to going home tomorrow. :)
