Long time member going anonymous. Please don’t judge. I didn’t plan to have a 3rd and don’t feel this is the time with the pandemic. No offense to anyone ttc right now. I’ve been through the TTC struggles and Honestly did not expect to be very fertile thus wasn’t on BC. I know it’s too early to test.

99 ear temp today. I believe I ovulated Sunday and we bd on Sunday. Usually pull out game but he didn’t that night. We haven’t bd for months prior. Felt very fatigued all wk but chalked it to lack of sleep and crazy kids. Felt feverish today. Took temp and 99.

I’ve been pretty much quarantined since mid March with a few rare exceptions to run errands but wore mask and socially distanced. We disinfect groceries and just overall very mindful of avoiding virus. No one in our house is sick. I have no other illness symptoms at the moment so hopefully not covid. Will they even test me w no symptoms and 99 temp?

Thx for reading this far. Just needed to vent and get any thoughts from you all. 💜

Don’t even know why I am bothering to post this, because I just need to wait till my appt tomorrow. But sometimes personal stories can help or just general support. Anyone experience spotting early in 2nd trimester? This will be a little tmi details so bear with me.

For me it started on Thursday with just a little brown tinge to my normal discharge. Nothing that would go on a panty liner, just on the tissue each time after using the bathroom. Possibly some very light cramping once in a while. Once or twice it was slightly more reddish. Then last night it got a little more and was definitely more reddish with occasional small clots. Maybe like when you first start or the last day of your period? But again nothing on my underwear. I emailed my doctor. During the night once when I peed the toilet looked pinkish red with some clots and same this morning. And on and off mild period like cramps. I called the advice line and they scheduled me an appt for tomorrow. I am so scared!

I think I'm experiencing my first UTI... and waiting to hear back from my midwife.

Would love some tips. I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and already had to go on antibiotics in January for a sinus infection that wouldn't go away... so I'm a bit nervous about antibiotics before because there is some evidence about later antibiotics and baby infections.

I have been having a bit of pressure having to pee more and a bit of a sting for a few days, but yesterday I was wondering if I might have been getting a yeast infection... then last night I started having to pee more frequently and connected that I might have a bit of blood in my urine. This morning I was a bit of a mess, constantly have the pressure and urge to pee, and have since been drinking water non-stop, but still have a bit of blood in my urine.

This is completely new territory for me... is blood normal for UTIs or super concerning? Does it sound like I"m going to need antibiotics, or can I potentially still ward off with water?

Thanks!

I'm 35 weeks with baby #3 and he appears to have lodged himself into my ribs. I woke up last night with sharp rib pain and was unable to get comfortable (except for lying on my back, which I know I'm not supposed to do). He appears to still be in this position and every time he moves I get a sharp pain in the ribs. I'm just wondering if this happened to others and whether there is anything that can be done to manage the pain (heating pad, ice packs, massaging the baby out of the area, etc.). I'm desperate!

Hi-

I only had one period postpartum. I breastfeed and also supplement. Well I have been having some cramping like my period is coming and now brown spotting. No period.

Not the best contraception method we are using at the moment.

We will go to condoms after we figure out if I am pregnant. Are these symptoms? I’m alittle anxious to test.

Could this just be my body getting acclimated to everything?

I'm 15 weeks and in general my MS has gotten better, just a little sick morning/evenings. And I know this is completely psychological, but every time I go to the bathroom, take my kids to the bathroom, sometimes even just thinking about bathroom stuff, I start gagging like crazy. The more I tell myself not to think about it, the worse it ends up. It's not just smell either. I have this with brushing teeth too but not as bad. Is there anyway to try to make myself get over it?!

Did anyone who has twins or is currently pregnant with twins experience nausea super early? I’m only 3 weeks, 2 days and I’m feeling so nauseous already. Maybe it’s because I’m older. But I did have IUI with 4-5 mature follicles. So, twins is a possibility. 😬

I do not recall this with my first!

I am 36 weeks with my 2nd and the pelvic pain is outrageous! It feels like my pelvis is being sawed in half.

I see a chiro and getting adjusted helps for 1 or 2 days and then it's back to barely being able to walk.

I splurged on a pelvic support belt today, but man!! If 10/10 is the worst pain of my life, this is like a 7 or an 8.

Anything that scissors my legs apart or lifts one leg at a time is a no go. It hurts to move my foot from the break pedal to the gas pedal in my car!

Anyone else have this? What helped?

How did your symptoms differ in your 2nd (or 3rd, +) pregnancy differ from your first?

My first pregnancy sore boobs were my first clue, and a pretty constant symptom in the early first trimester. This time, nothing so far. This time I’ve had 3 days of headaches, and I didn’t have a headache my entire last pregnancy!

Did you find breastfeeding to affect symptoms? Still bf’ing my 9-month-old.

So starting today I've had some itching. It's all over but mostly in my elbows, hands and ankles and feet. It's not unbearable just annoying right now. I finally broke down and just now took a benadryl. I have no rash though and I haven't changed my detergent. I'm nervous about cholestasis...the liver thing. I don't want to over react though. I have an appointment Thursday. I also have been having some dull pain under my right ribs. It comes and goes but hurts more when I eat.

Does this just sound like some normal itching and just mention it at my next appointment or should I call tomorrow and ask. I've had so many issues with me not feeling her move and word blood pressure days I feel bad. I feel like im being a nuisance.

Any of you ladies have this? Is this normal for your baby being low?
You'd think with it being my 3rd baby I'd know what is normal or not. My other two kids never dropped and were sky high and I never dilated or effaced till induction started. A lot in this pregnancy has been new territory for me.
Doctor confirmed this baby is low. Well the past day or two my cervix hurts. Like a constant sharp pinching. Occasionally it stops but overall its constant. It's not like lightning crotch when that is sudden and quick. This is a more subtle pain. I feel pressure but it's not like a bowling ball like some people describe.

I'm around 14 weeks, and in the past week nausea has taken a turn for the worse. I haven't been able to keep down lunch all week, and from late afternoon til bedtime I can't keep anything down, not even water or ginger tea. I started diclegis around 6 weeks, and I'm wondering if I've gotten desensitized to it? Anyone have this happen, and if so what did you do? Or anyone just have MS peak late?

I really thought it would start getting better if I could make it to second tri (it was a turning point with LO1), so I'm feeling a bit discouraged. Doctor offered stronger meds a few weeks ago, but I'd prefer to avoid it if possible due to side effects and the fact that risks to the baby are not well understood.

I swear I never dealt with this with my other two! They were not kidding when they day every pregnancy is different.

The past two days I've lost small amounts of plug. Not too worried about that. However since then my discharge had upped to the max. Like I dont think I'd fill a pad or anything but it's sometimes watery and sometimes not. I'm just so gross. I never dealt with that with my other two. I didnt lose my plug with my son till the day I was induced before I went in. I dont want to keep going in. I've had so many things go crazy this pregnancy, from two times of oddly high blood pressure to one day of reduced movement to one time of having contractions that stopped. I just don't want to look like the crazy pregnant lady.

Any other ladies have a lot of discharge at the end? If it was your waters leaking how did you know?

Oof so sorry for all the recent questions. This place just seems to give more sound advice.

Since 27 weeks I've been super emotional. Some background though ...I am bipolor and back on my meds. I am seeing a therapist and I'm seeing my psychiatrist soon. I'm doing play in that area. However I don't feel like this is anything to do with that...I hope. I'm mostly weepy. I cry so easily. Be it stressful things to happy things like looking at a cute baby onesie. Idk if this is normal. It was NOT like this in my other pregnancies.

I'm also super insecure and that makes the wanting to cry worse. I dont feel attractive when I'm pregnant. It's my 3rd pregnancy and I have stretch marks, extra skin and feel huge. Not magical or beautiful at all. I keep thinking my husband will leave me cause I'm so big and "fat" I wasnt thin before so it's just worse. He has never gave me any cause to doubt him and he is amazing and I love him and I know he loves me. We have a great marriage. I'm just almost paranoid and that's so not like me. I control it pretty good but some days I just want to cry.

Does this sound like normal 3rd trimester hormones or should I be more concerned? I'm just worried it's my mental illness.

Hi guys!

I’ve had no eye problems ever. I have 20/20 vision. I remember with my first pregnancy that my OB mentioned your eyesight can get a little wonky during pregnancy. Yesterday I went to renew my license and FAILED the last part of the eye exam (stupid test where you stick your head in the eye machine and it lights up.) The whole last colum was blank to me. I could read everything perfectly except the far away text in the last column. It just looked blank to me. I actually got a bit nervous because again I have never had eye issues or even noticed anything different. I work on my phone and computer all day and have had ZERO issues reading even the tiniest text. Long story short they are making me go get tested elsewhere before I can get my license renewed. I’m just annoyed because I have so many appointments coming up I don’t want to have my husband leave work to drive me to. I assured the woman who tested me it was because of pregnancy (i’m 7 months along.) Everything i’m reading is saying it is super common and a side effect of pregnancy and will go away shortly after birth. Has anyone had issues during pregnancy with their eyesight? Any suggestions?

Hi everyone!

This is my second pregnancy and i’ve been having lots of braxton hicks today. I noticed them starting around 3pm today and i’ve had about 4 every hour since. I had them a lot with my first pregnancy too but a little later in the third trimester. I thought maybe I wasn’t drinking enough water but i’ve had about 60oz now. I am pretty constipated and gassy does this contribute to them? I am trying not to freak myself out and she’s been moving around a bunch tonight but this is the most i’ve had them this whole pregnancy. I am resting at home laying down and continuing to drink water (keep having to pee though which seems to bring them on more!) Any advice on these? Any other mommas out there have them a lot?

I just found out I’m pregnant and measuring between 4-5 weeks. I’ve been having some inconsistent breast tenderness (more tender to touch in later part of day but nothing when I wake up in morning). I feel a little more tired but I also get up most days at 445 for the gym and I have a 2.5 yr old. I’m trying to remember how I felt my first pregnancy b/c I never had any morning sickness then either. I had a miscarriage in December 2017 so I’m worried I’m not having symptoms or the few I’m having are inconsistent and mild. My first blood draw was 271 and I should get my second result today. Please reassure me I have no reason to panic this early!!!

Woof, I hit 28 weeks and my sciatic/ periformis and groin pain is BAD. I overdid it at home painting and re-doing a dresser and for 4 days now it almost feels like someone is trying to split my groin open- its like my groin bones (is there such thing??) ache tremendously.
I plan on starting back up swimming. I hate yoga and yoga squats seems to inflame it more. I use a heat pad but have a 35lb toddler who wants to be help sometimes (that REALLY flares it up). I haven't even gained a ton and have 3 months to go yikes!
I am very active and want to keep running... I will talk to my midwife but have you found something that eases the pinching and aching of the butt/ groin area due to sciatica?

AF was a day late and has only been brown spotting for 48 hrs now. I am 14 DPO (based on ovulation pains and thats it) and started spotting yesterday. This is not normal for me.

Seems late for possible implantation bleeding? I wouldn't test positive if implantation is just now happening, correct? How long should I wait to test?

I'm sure AF will really arrive now that I've made this post, as it goes. Anyway, what was ypur experience with implantation bleeding?

I'm feeling bummed and vain about stretch marks. I'm 21 weeks with #2 and I've got big stretch marks (3+"/8+cm long) on my inner thighs and hips and a few small ones on the fronts of my thighs and on the bottom half of my belly.

With LO I got one tiny stretch mark (<1cm) sometime in my 41st week.

It feels extra unfair because I'm only up 2 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. What gives?

Anyone else have such dissimilar experiences in different pregnancies? Or just want to commiserate?

I don't want to whine as I'm so glad I'm pregnant and things look good so far with baby, but I'm 18 weeks and then nausea is back in full force. It's preventing me from functioning normally and I'm just so sick of it. My appetite and eating habits are terrible. I'm in my bed taking a nap and its 7 a.m. (I'm pregnant with #2 fwiw.) I have so much to do today and every single hour or so I get bad nausea for 20 minutes or so. I've only had a few days of relief since 6w.

My usual tricks have not worked. Small meals, crackers, ginger ale, ginger chews, naps, even exercise isn't staving the nausea off like it did with my other 2 pregnancies. Nothing has worked. Tips or commiseration? Is this normal? Seems dumb to start diclegis now.

Just thought it would be interesting!

I have had a lot of the normal/usual symptoms but in my last pregnancy (which we lost) and this one I lost a decent portion of my eyelashes. It just started this time around 24 weeks and a little googling seems to indicate it’s not just me!

I have never gotten the extra hair growth and extreme loss many get which I’m thankful for. I do get weak nails (especially near the end) which I blame on my giant babies stealing my nutrients :silly:

I have been experiencing this pain through most of my pregnancy. Basically it hurts when I close my legs together. It really hurts when I walk or even try and roll over in bed. I have read that it could be linked to round ligament pain and from the extra relaxing hormones being secreted. I'm just wondering if anyone experienced this and if so, what did you do to help it? This was an area that hurt the most during delivery with #1 and if it already hurts, how is it going to feel during delivery #2?!

I’m only 13 weeks with #3 and this time the acid is killer already, has been for weeks. I tried lots of tums, then Pepcid complete, not doing it, then I remembered I took Prevacid last time. That made a big difference but it doesn’t last long enough. If I take it when I get up I have a good morning but by after lunch the stomach pain is so strong. I force down something bland and some milk at bedtime and then I sleep ok but it’s ruining half my day.

Has anyone taken Prevacid more often? Should I be asking for rx stuff? What worked for you?

I'm 28 weeks and going out of my mind with restless legs at night. I've tried being more active, stretching, heating pad, cutting out caffeine entirely....any other tips? I'm getting maybe 3 hours of sleep a night and am at my wits end.
