I’m looking for a water bottle for my 3 year old. We currently use Camelbaks and I’m just tired of them. Too many pieces. So if it has as many parts as a Camelbak Eddy straw cup, it’s a no go. It needs to be pretty much spillproof and easy to take small drinks out of. My 7 year old has done a Nalgene since Kindergarten and that has been so much easier but I know the toddler can’t handle the wide mouth style yet. </p> <p>It needs to be totally dishwasher safe, too. Something warm, good traction but not too heavy like typical snow boots. For me the caveat also is that I have obnoxiously wide ankles and calves so I need something that laces (though I welcome suggestions for ankle-high slip-ons that I can get in and out of for quick outings). </p> <p>Also would love recommendations for warm-weather pants for kiddo and me. This will be our first winter being outside as much as possible so this is a new terrain for us. I’m looking at snow boots for our oldest (6), and am leaning toward the LLBean ones with two removable inserts. Our daughter loves to play in the snow and always managed to get her books soaked last winter, which is why I’m thinking boots with removable liners would be great. Anybody have experience with these or suggestions for other ones? She’s the oldest and if the boots last they’ll be passed down to her sister, so I’m okay spending a little more.</p> <p>And while we’re at it, what about your own favorites? I have a pair of Sorels that are cute and warm, but they’re super clunky and uncomfortable.
