My daughter is about to turn 3 and asked for a doll stroller for her birthday. Well, she specifically asked for a Spiderman doll stroller. That doesn't exist, so I bought some Spiderman fabric patches which I will affix to a cheap doll stroller. :)

Here's my question. She is on the tall side for her age. Over 3 feet. Would she be able to play with and push around one of those cheap umbrella strollers? Like the Cosco brand they sell at Target/Walmart, etc.?

If not, I will get her one of the small, cheap baby doll strollers they have at the big box stores. She already has one like that but it's starting to break which is why she wanted a replacement in the first place.

But help! I am curious if anyone's preschool age kids are able to play with a regular sized umbrella stroller easily.

I live on top of a very big hill. I have a Joovy Caboose but I struggle pushing it up the hill. It feels like there is too much weight over the back wheels because they feel wiggly.

Anyone have a double stroller they love for walks? I am also considering this:
I know a few of my Facebook friends are really questioning their use of the one they have, and a few actually called Britax and got very unsatisfying answers, so in case this helps anyone else...

To keep things brief, I am due with my second in November. My DD is currently 3 (she will be 3.5 when new baby arrives).

I am currently eyeing a 2011 Uppababy Vista stroller on a local resale FB group. It appears to be in good condition and comes with a bassinet, stroller seat, and skate/buggy board. In the last week the price has dropped from $400 to $324.

We currently have a 2015 Graco Click and Connect travel system that isn’t working that well lately (wheels keeping getting stuck), and it would only work for one kid at a time.

Wondering if I should buy the Uppababy at the current selling price ($324), negotiate a lower price, or pass altogether? Any advice?

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone had experience with both of these strollers and had a preference for either.
I currently have the Bravo, but I find it hard to push with one hand and rather bulky when folded up. I know the Mini and Mini GT are super popular and takes care of my two main complains about the Bravo. But on the downside it has a much smaller basket and no parent tray, though I'm ok with buying accessories. It also seems that the City can't stand on it's own when folded, do you find that to be a problem? I can't think of when I've ever been out and needed to fold my stroller and keep it upright, but my son is only 9mo, so we haven't had a TON of experience being out and about yet.

My husband doesn't really think I should spend more on another stroller since we have a perfectly fine one according to him, and I do kind of agree if it's not going to be significantly better. Opinions? Do you think the Mini GT worth buying if I have the Bravo? It's currently on sale at Albee for only $200, so while it's not going to break the bank, I hate to waste money on another stroller if it's not worth it.

I'm only currently looking at this one cause I cant justify spending much more even if they are better. And if it matters, we have the 3D lite too, but I don't really like it cause the canopy is pretty useless imo.

And the regular City Mini is about $150, but I think the GT is worth the extra $50 over the Mini? Has anyone had or used both?

Has anyone used a buggy board with a jogger or all terrain type stroller? We need the all terrain wheels for where we live, but when we travel it would be nice to have a buggy board for our 3.5 year old. And I don't really want two different strollers, so I'm hoping to find a combo jogger/all terrain stroller (we don't actually jog with it, just need the all terrain) and buggy board that actually works. Any ideas?

We live in a major city where we walk everywhere- park, grocery store, classes, everywhere.

DS is currently 3.5- at around 3 he was pretty comfortable walking 15min there and 15min back which got us to most of our destinations. When the winter hit, he started to sit in the stroller more. We currently have a MB duet (DD is 23mo).

Here is what I think my options are:

1. Keep the double stroller- this is appealing because when we do long days, both kids nap in the stroller, its nice to have both strapped in while we are waiting for the train, etc

2. Get a single and scooter
I know most people in the city start their kid on a scooter at this age but the problem is DD would also want to scooter and I can see her throw a fit every time she has to get strapped in while DS gets to scooter

3. Single stroller and walk
What I’m leaning towards but I worry that there will be days where he gets tired and cranky and I no place to stick him

If you live in a major city and mostly walk- when did you LO move on from the stroller?

So, I might be looking for something that doesn’t exist here but now that our youngest is walking around the full size stroller is kind of overkill so I am looking for a compact stroller that can stay upright with a diaper bag on the back, OR one with an easily accessible basket. We have an umbrella stroller that’s seen better days and the basket is useless but something that folds small like that would be fantastic.

Moms with bassinet strollers- how old were they when you switched to the reclined rear facing seat? I am completely blanking on when we did this with DS.
This time, the bassinet seems HUGE and unwieldy, and we also have the wheeled board, so when we want to put the big kid on that, we need to use the carseat instead of bassinet. So I am wanting to put DD (8 weeks today) into the reclined seat sooner rather than later to make the stroller slightly less giant. Maybe in a month?

Hey all. We're traveling abroad this summer and I'm trying to figure out what stroller to get/borrow for our trip.

We have a 2.5 & 5.5 year old. The first week we plan on doing a lot of sightseeing and think we will definitely need a stroller. And I like the option of one being able to stand. This is pretty much a one-time use, so i'm going to give to my sister after or re-sell it. OR, i'm hoping I can borrow one.

I was looking at the Sit N Stand or the joovy caboose.

THOUGHTS???

Ideally it will fold down and be pretty lightweight for airport travel, etc.

HELP :)

Would love something that still reclines and ideally has a regular push bar instead of the umbrella handles so it can be pushed one handed

I need to buy a double stroller. I have a newborn (8wks) and a 2yo currently. My 2yo is petite- 33in, 23lbs (15% for both).

I live in the suburbs so I want a car stroller that is not too heavy and easy to get in/out of the car. I also want a 2nd stroller for walks around the neighborhood (hilly) and trips to disneyland/zoo/etc.

I've gone through previous posts and I'm still conflicted. I THINK i want a Joovy caboose ultralight for the car and a Mountain Buggy Duet. I'm also researching the Austlen and City Select.

Any regrets with the joovy or duet? Will my daughter be comfy in the Duet or will she quickly outgrow it? Does anyone have the carseat attachment for the duet and will it fold with the attachment on?

I seriously can't decide on a stroller and hoping maybe some of you who live in the city and experience snow can share what you use and if you're happy with your choice. The UB Vista is super popular in my area and everyone seems to say it's the one to get. But it also just seems so heavy and huge and I've read a lot of people say it's annoying getting around with it in the city because it's difficult in stores and restaurants and on transit. But they also say it's the best in the snow and bad conditions and maneuvers extremely well. I'm not sure which is the most important factor in there.

Is there another stroller that's more compact/lightweight that can still manage snowy winters? Or does that just not exist (seems kind of crazy if it doesn't!)?

I have kind of a tall-order for this stroller purchase. I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions. We currently have a Nuna Mixx that I LOVE and use almost daily. However, I need a double stroller as I watch another baby a few days a week.
We are taking trips to NYC and Europe this summer and the Mixx is just way too large to bring on public trans. Lightweight and compact is a must.

Here are my other wants:
- Front/back not side by side
- Canopy
- Reclining seat (doesn’t have to be both seats)
- Storage basket
- Possible car seat attachment

I’d also love if the second seat came out so I don’t have to bring it on our trips when it’s just LO.

Does this exist?!

We've been using the same Britax stroller since birth with DS, but with another on the way (knock on wood,) we are looking for a double stroller. DS will have just turned 3 when this one arrives. I know a lot of people can get away without one but we like to walk a lot, have dogs and all that. I figure I can get a couple years use out of it, hopefully sell, and then go back to our regular stroller. I am looking for one that can accomodte an infant carseat. So far, it looks like the city mini double is the best fit but I know very nothing about double strollers. Anyway, any recommendations?

Our g-luxe is dying after about 4 years of hard use and we are thinking about getting a new umbrella stroller! We liked the g-luxe but it seems like there are all these new options that fold down teeny tiny and are even lighter and easier to travel with— I’d love some thoughts on any of those!

We’re traveling to Italy next month so would want it by then. We also use the travel one for our 4 year old when we’re taking her to and from classes etc by herself. We also have a 1 year old who would use it eventually, we usually use a Cruz for just her or if we’re taking both girls, we have a g-link (we like uppababy haha).

It seems silly to have 3 strollers in an nyc apartment but they all seem necessary 🤷‍♀️

Any experience? I am debating if I even need a double but frankly I think we do and we hope to have more children. I have a Nuna Pipa so need a double that is compatible with that so unfortunately a Bob is out.

I prefer all terrain and was set on the Twin since my son will be 2.5 and is above the 95 percentile for height and weight so I think the Duet is just too narrow however who knows how long/often he will actually ride. The features of the Duet are appealing for that reason.

Can you tell I'm indecisive? I can wait until baby arrives and see what we need but I really want to ensure I can get walking as soon as I feel up for it. Any others we should consider? I prefer side by side, we live in a rural setting and plan to use for walks and zoo trips, etc.

We used a Britax B-Agile and the B-Safe travel system with both my daughter and my son. No problems...but I've used it for over 5 years. The infant B-safe car seat is expired and the stroller is showing signs of wear and tear. We don't really have much to purchase for #3 coming in early March so I wanted to splurge a little on a new stroller.

Anyone have any recommendations?
Here's what I'm looking for..

1)new infant car seat
2)stroller that can face inward and outward
3)all around $600
4)not a must but my DS will be around 23 months when baby is born so he will prob need to use it too

I was looking at the Maxi Cosi Adorra Travel System. (https://www.amazon.com/Maxi-Cosi-Adorra-Travel-System-Nomad/dp/B072BXMMTS/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1)

but the reviews on Amazon and on Buy Buy Baby's website about the steering being horrible and the wheels locking is making me pause a bit...

We have a BOB Ironman that has a lot of miles on it and is so beat up I can't currently fold it all the way. We've been running with it for almost 4 years, including in lots of rain, slush, and snow. Have any others experienced this wear and tear, and what sort of rehab worked for you? I don't even know where to start in terms of figuring out what parts need replacing. TIA!

A few months ago I posted about being on the fence about having a second baby and now I am actually getting excited about it. So I think it will be time to start trying soon! Depending on when I actually get pregnant, my son will be around 2 1/2.

The crazy type A person I am is already thinking about the things I will need for a second baby and if I will need a double stroller? Honestly, we don't use our current stroller all that much. Only at places like the Zoo, mall, etc... Maybe a handful of times a month at best. I have the city mini GT and I do really love it. Only thing I hate is the storage.

If you were me, would you get a double stroller. And which one would you get? Would you sell the city mini GT and get one of the expensive ones that can change to all different options. Would you keep the city mini and get a cheaper double to use occasionally?

Help me sort this out...

We have a BOB and I love it. My daughter is 2.5. We only use it when I take her on my long walks/hikes. Our second daughter is due late February when DD will be 3. Probably won't be doing much walking until the spring. My question is: do you think we should invest in a double BOB for our walks? Or, will DD be too big to ride in there anyway? Opinions? Experience?

hi mamas,

anyone have the newer babyzen yoyo+ stroller? and additionally has anyone used the ride on board attachement just released?

i ran across it and now i'm sort of obsessed with getting it for baby #2! we had the mb nano for our first child and didnt really like the 2-hand fold.... but i really miss having a very compact lightweight 1 hand push stroller.... the babyzen yoyo+ is one hand push, one hand fold  ! also allows for the ride on board... which i think would be useful for my toddler? also trying to figure out if the umbrella on the yoyo+ is deep enough, that was another thing about the nano i didnt really like... (but overall the mb nano was a very smooth, convenient stroller and we still use it  )

ugh i need to stop obsessing over strollers....

So we are a ways out from needing to buy something, but we have #2 arriving at Christmas. LO #1 will be about 33 months when baby bro gets here. I'll need a double(? I think?). We live in a very urban area; I walk a ton with our stroller currently. Miles and miles. We get snow here also.
The kickers: I have to bump up 5 steps to get to our vestibule and only have a narrow hallway to store a stroller in (I guess I could fold it though).
So basically I'm looking at two options:
A single with a rider board (our current Thule jogger won't take a board)
A really narrow double. Probably side by side??

BUT I will need large rear tires in order to bump up the stairs. This thing can't weigh 30+ lbs or I'll die. I'll have to walk LO plus new baby to prek 2x a week pretty much right after he's born in January. In snow. I realize I can wear him initially, and probably will do this for a few months.

Thoughts?????

I saw the baby trend snap-n-go is on sale at target for under $30, so I was thinking about grabbing one. Has anyone used it with a Chico Keyfit 30 and how do you like it? My original plan was to get a Mountain Buggy Nano since you can put the infant seat on it, but this is way cheaper. Our only stroller right now is a Bob so the nano would be baby seat holder and then later stroller to keep in the car. I don't want to get the snap and go if it's a pain to use with the Chicco and then regret not just springing for the nano. Thoughts?

Does anyone have a strong opinion about which is better? We got the G-lite last week and it seems fine except it's annoying to me that the baby is slouching in it because the back is just mesh. Not sure if the g-luxe is *that* much better or more comfy for the baby. I bought the lite because it's less expensive and a couple pounds lighter, but kind of having buyers remorse. If you have one of these, what do you think if it?

Does anyone use a non-BOB brand cupholder with thei duallie? It seems like general consensus is that the BOB handlebar console is not great. Wondering if there are any other options.
